Sounders Timbers, aside from Yankees Red Sox, is the biggest rivalry in American professional sports.

This rivalry is awesome but I can't say that it beats 90+ years of Packers vs. Bears hatred.

Yedlin is just fantastic at tracking back. He's stopped everything after he got forward.

I don't know. Klinsmann has no problem with dropping players. I would not be surprised if Dempsey is dropped. He hasn't really even looked that good for Seattle, to tell you the truth.

Dempsey not really having a good game again.

I rarely like to admit Taylor Twellman is right, but seattle has been awfully narrow this evening. I wouldn't be surprised about Dempsey being dropped either. Disappointed, but not surprised.

2tone are you talking about Dempsey being dropped from the starting lineup or from the squad entirely?

I think Dempsey starts in Costa Rica but if he doesn't I would at least expect him to be on the bench. He's been far too critical to the team over the past 18 months to be dropped because of a few uninspiring performances at the club level.

Are you guys speaking about being dropped from the starting XI or from the squad all together?

No chance he's dropped from the squad, but agreed he's off form.

If you're saying he's dropped from the XI, I assume you'd like to see LD in his position behind Jozy?

EJ gets hacked then scores. Mauro Rosales is a great supersub

Yes from the XI not from the squad entirely. I would like to see Donovan start behind Jozy. Always have since the Gold Cup. But it's hard to put Dempsey anywhere else IMO. But back to the thread, great goal from EJ.

No signal and now a commercial? I feel like I'm watching a game on BeIn Sport.

Looking at the atmosphere I really hope somehow Vancouver Seattle and Portland all make it to the playoffs, the western conference playoffs would be amazing if that happened

BAZING. Yeah that was weird. Leave it up to ESPN to find a way to screw around with its subscribers.
