Well, I just hope Arriola continues to play well. Good luck to him on the rest of the season. Maybe he gets a call or maybe not.

Not one person has stated that "if he continues to play well, he should get a call up." I stated would Klinsmann call him up if he continues to play well. If you are going to use quotes and try to call someone out on what has been stated, it's best to do it accurately.

As always your opinion is well respected, but lately it's been getting quite snooty.

Everything is an "if". Hell even you use "if's" on a regular basis.

Im pretty sure he was just referring to what all the "ifs" meant. And one person is already comfortbale "IF" he continues to play well, to start him at LW. So be as technical as you want, but its basically what's being implied here.

Maybe. Maybe I interpreted it wrong. If that's the case then I apologise to Bshredder.

Um, forum decorum demands a flamewar...

I don't really think that many "ifs" need to be met right now, he's in great form and he's young. Cap him now and then let him go back to the Uwhatevers and let him develop naturally. I think all the hyping we did around Jozy led to him rushing into signing with Valencia and that move set him back a couple of years.

We need to cap the young players early, especially the dual nationals, then let them resume their normal career...give them something to aspire back to with hard work and determination.

Yeah I see no fault in just bringing him in. Let him know he's being watched closely.

Start, no. Give him a shot with a youthful MNT team, why not? I'd like to see him develop more as you all have stated. If I jumped the gun, whatever, but the fact remains he's a viable winger option for years to come. Best of luck regardless what happens with his future.

I'd like to see him move up through the ranks just like everyone else. I wouldn't mind if JK brought him in for a camp should the performances continue but he's got a ways to go before he will see the field.

Of course Arriola playing all season is a big "if"...but we're just excited at the fact that it's a possibility. If we have a teenager starting in Liga MX right now that's something to be excited about. And considering the options we have on the wing (aside from Donovan and Dempsey also) if Arriola maintains his current level I don't see why he wouldn't get called up. We really need creative, attacking players, and usually guys playing in Mexico have that bit of flair. I haven't seen him play yet but I'm already excited.

If course it's a big "if," but we're just wondering what happens if he continues at his current level (certainly not an impossible feat). I'd be thrilled. I'm tired of having to play guys who aren't wingers (Eddie Johnson, Zusi, Torres, etc.) or have someone else play left back aside from Fabian Johnson.
