The team was greeted with chants of " USA no fair play" after getting off the plane.

Why? Because they intentionally brought a snow storm over Denver on gameday?

Costa Rica is really cheating by bringing all that humidity to the game! Unethical!

I guess they forget that we also beat them in the Gold Cup. I know I know it doesn't really help their argument to remember that one.

Aside from Azteca these are the two toughest fixtures in the Hex. And Costa Rica is really in-form (and really want revenge) and Mexico desperately needs points. Six points is highly unlikely. I have a feeling we'll draw both games and then cruise on through our last two to finish the hex in first place.

Not sure anyone saw it but Twellman on ESPN FC said that the x factor to take over the RB spot was Bedoya and long term was Yedlin. Bedoya?????

I mean I could see it. He has the speed. I'm not sure how he is defensively but his offensive nature would give him a leg over his competition considering our RBs are offensively inept. Assuming he can hold his own defensively I don't think it's very out of reach.

Not sure how he is defensively??? That's the most important factor in any defender, of course any winger/CAM will be a leg up over a defender in the offensive third but with our CBs we can't skimp on outside backs defensively.

Apparently Bedoya has played there for Nantes the last few games. I still think Cameron will be on the right for the Costa Rica game at least.
For I am creator of all things soccer. Seek repentance or just beat Mexico, either will get you in up here.

I was saying pending how his is defensively, maybe twellman knows something I don't? Wtf is the attack for. I don't how he is defensively so I was speculating that he may. Be a good option if he learns the position. I don't think that's so outrageous.

He played for roughly 20 mins in the PSG game, that's it.

He's pretty much a right sided Beasley so I guess it makes sense.

Not an attack. Just think it's a little crazy in general. The guy is 26 years old, never has played defense at any level for an extended period of time or really at all. It's the international level...not a lower league, don't want to make that mistake. It's bad enough with Beaz but at least he is extremely fast to make up for the mistakes...Bedoya isn't that fast.

They must have been playing a 5-3-2/3-5-2 as there were 4 other defenders. Not the same as playing outside back in a back four.
