I am going to predict that he is at 14 goals in the Eredivisie and 20 goals in all comps heading into the Eredivisie christmas break.

To be fair, Jozy's in the middle of a transition period for his club and it's definitely affecting his ability to score goals (no service, IMO). If he were in a more stable system like IceBacon and Boyd and was used more as a striker than a hold up man, we'd probably be seeing much more from him. Let Gus work his magic and implement his system before we start calling for Jozy to move.

You think Johannsson is going to score 32 goals in all comps before the christmas break?

If Jozy reaches 10 in all comps its more impressive than 30 for Boyd or AJ

I would predict Jozy gets max 3 or 4 goals in the whole season.

Agreed that it would be more impressive than Boyd scoring 30. Not sure I agree with AJ. Say what you want about how easy it is to score goals in the Eredivisie, that league is much better than the Austrian Bundesliga. If someone scores 30+ in Holland, it's a much bigger deal than if they were to do so in Austria.

Scoring 30 + goals is impressive no matter what. I hope Altidore scores some goals, but his goal scoring slump has more to do with the current lack of talent around him versus EPL defenders.

Personally I would like to see what a front 4 of Borini, Altidore, Fletcher, and Giaccherini can do.

The 2011-2012 goal leaders for Eredivisie and what they've done since:

Bas Dost (32 league goals)- 8 goals in a year and half for Wolfsburg (bundesliga)
de Jong (25)- 6 goals for Borussia M'Gladbach (bundes)
Malki(25) stayed with Roda, scored 17 more goals last year, and got a transfer to Turkey, 1 goal so far.
Mertens (21)- Stayed with PSV one more year. Now in Napoli, 1 goal in 10 appearances.
Guidetti (20)- Still property of Man City, Still on loan with Feyenoord
Toivonen (18)- Still with PSV

Those are all the people who scored more goals than Jozy in 2011-2012 (not enough games to use last years leaders). But you can clearly see scoring a lot of goals in Netherlands doesnt translate to a lot of goals elsewhere. 16 non-eredivisie goals from the 6 combined. Id say 10 goals in EPL or Bundesliga is more impressive than 30 in Netherlands

Sounds like it could be potent, but you'd have to have a much better supporting cast in the backline/DMs to provide enough cover to have those 4 pushed up enough to really pressure the opposition.

Had to point this out but is absolutely amazing every single player in Iceland have similar names, specially last names. And they do all look alike lol. All players last name ends with "SON" and a few with "SEN" "SSON" only country in the world. I hope they qualify to the WC they will be the team i root for in Europe besides Germany. Aron would be proud, just hope usa doesn't run into them.
Just look at the lineup

Yeah. I can't see them grabbing too many goals today, let alone 1.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
