Nice story about Guzan and his thoughts on the NBC EPL coverage.

Anyone see that Osvaldo goal?

That Assaidi winner for Stoke was pretty exceptional too.

Osvaldo goal was class....still not Suarez from Wednesday. I wonder if Assaidi will have a place at Liverpool next year.

Thought this was interesting:

The 2013 Liga MX soccer season averaged 991,000 viewers on Univision, topping the average viewership for NBC's English Premier League broadcasts by 37% (725K through 1/13). Coverage on UniMás averaged 658,000 viewers, topping the EPL on NBCSN by 76% (374K). (Univision)

The Chelsea-Man United game was the first EPL game to reach over 1 million viewers this year. So baby steps. Got to imagine they'll get way more viewers after the World Cup.

Galaxy game will be on telefutura or galavision. Not univision. Another amazing stat I found was the USA game vs Algeria in the wc had nore views on univision than espn. Also the highest viewed game in USA from the wc was Argentina vs Mexico on univision, I believe it had more than the final itself.

NBC is dumb by showing epl. If they wanna get big ratings in USA NBC should cut ties with epl and show la liga or bundesliga., more people will watcb.. I for one will watch I find the epl boring.

I guarantee those liga mx ratings are skewed... Their fans are unpaid promoters. I use to watch games on justin.tv and couldn't figure out why there were so many streams of the same liga mx game. Once I learned the characteristics of the mexican trolls I realize they go above and beyond to promote the league.
