Part of the awesomeness of the Review show was that the Enlgish announcers always threw in just a bit of humor rather than just being a highlight show...the background information given is generally interesting and relevant...

We will miss you Review Show.

Aston Villa playing very well. Easily could be in the lead right now. Upper mid-table finish this year.

Tough loss for Villa. They fought till the end. Chelsea has so much quality it wpuld've been shocking if they didn't get that second goal.

@Recycledhumans I watched the Review show on the live extra app. It was a ten minute clip of all the goals but it was pretty much the same

Guzan was once again excellent in trying to keep his porous defense together. It would be nice to see him surrounded by effective defenders for once. I don't care how phenomenal Chelsea may be, if you can steal a goal away from them on the road, you better know how to defend the draw.

EPL coverage has been superior to Fox Sports so far anyway, ESPN is just a bit better IMO. Villa looks like Guzan and Benteke and 9 other meh guys so far.

Delph was awesome today vs Chelsea. Villa is young but I think they could impress this year and definitely finish better than last years horrible run.

I kept saying a couple of weeks ago how they (Villa) should have moved in for Scottie Parker, he's exactly the kind of experienced stalwart that would have been able to lead those kids into playing more structured and disciplined football. Plus, having a bulldog in front of your backline is always a good idea.

Now ol' 'Arry done lured him to QPR so that's kaputsky. Dempsey would have been a good move as well, but they need more of a holding mid than an attacker, they've got that end of the pitch pretty stocked.

Too bad Villa didn't hang on to Michael Bradley, he'd have been a few years older than most of those kids and could have really anchored the team.

Agreed - I think they need a solid defender as well. Vlaar is talented but that's about it. Someone catch me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Lampard at West Ham before Chelsea? Wonder if he would go back if the situation presented itself......or maybe Lletget just starts killing it haha.

I think Villa has made a hash of the transfer market for far too long, only recently turned around with Lambert. They have a fantastic youth system which is their only saving grace. What is Lerner's deal? Obviously he's not going to make money off a has-been club that hasn't won anything important in 32 years. Why not at least bring in some American youth to develop and make his home country proud? What happened to Bradley was a travesty, almost upset me as what they did to Lichaj, and tried to do to Guzan.

Unless Lerner starts taking the club seriously and providing the financial muscle necessary to compete year in an year out they'll continue on the same track. That being said one doesn't necessarily get imvolved in the sports ownership business to make money. After taking account all expenditures it's quite difficult to break even.

Not if you take the long view, which is what Lerner has done.

He's shown that he wants to build his team around youth, thereby ensuring a fairly consistent future. He's shown that the manager can have poor results and not get the sack, because he's implementing a system and mentality and needs that consistency of vision. They were poised to make a mint off the sale of Benteke, but they want to keep him for at least another season to both help them in the league and elevate his transfer value.

Same principle as the stock market...buy low, sell high.

Watching Arsenal vs Fulham, rather exciting for a rain soaked pitch. It doesn't seem right to watch Fulham without any Americans playing, that is unless you count Brede Hangeland.

Live Extra is an excellent App, I'm so pleased that NBC has the rights to the Premiership.

It's crazy that between Live Extra and WatchESPN you can get loads of quality games for free so long as you have a service provider yet Fox still wants to charge $20 a month for their FoxSoccer2Go app despite having lost everything of value besides the Champions League. Way to be competitive Fox.

I just wish ESPN would pick up the Bundesliga. I would love to watch high quality Bundesliga games. Does anybody even get GolTV? Comcast pulled it from my listings when BeIn came on board and I couldn't even order it if I wanted to.

Yeah the moment I realized FoxSoccer2go was a ripoff was a moment too long. You could only get the EPL/FA Cup/UCL games that weren't on tv.

Live extra is a fantastic app. Every game and its there if you want to watch it all over again.

Espn3 used to air some Bundesliga games a week but they stopped doing so.
