El Guzano has been lights out since Arsenal went down to 10 men.

The ref had a bad game, but Arsenal deserved to lose that one.

Yeah, I'm not complaining though. Arsenal is competition for the 3rd and 4th spots, I want them to lose no matter how bad they get screwed.

We'll get Ian back for the WCQs but not sure on Macca.

Macca won't be back until the WC.

Am I the only one that's upset that this deal seems to have also prevented Fox Soccer from even showing the English-made Premier League Review Show that I've come to rely on?

I feel like Arnold in that scene from Total Recall where his head is about to explode.

Things I took away from week 1.

Arsenal will be mid table team. By mid table I mean 6-8th and not challgenge for a UCL spot.

Its Man City's championship to lose (I know they havent played but they already looked good on paper and I dont think anyone else is stepping up)

Liverpool for surpise 4th place finsh.

Hull & Cardiff will be going back down. Too soo to predict other relegated team but it wont be Stoke or Villa

I don't really think you can take anything away from Week 1. People thought Arsenal was gonna finish 6-10 in 2011 after United smacked us the 2nd week of the season but at the end of the season we were right there in the top 4 as usual.

Happy to see Guzan anchoring the net and finally earning the #1 shirt away from Given. Wearing #1 is a big deal for us meathead keepers.

@recycledhumans Yeah same here. They have the highlights on nbcsports.com. But I did enjoy the review show.

Too early to tell about anything but it wasn't a good showing by Arsenal. It's week one. Chelsea looked good. United looked good. Let's see what City can do later on today.
