That's unfortunate. But I can't say I'm surprised.

Its not like he is cap-tied he JAB did friendly camps with germany as well. Most of these guys will prefer Germany since its where they grew up and its just a way better team. Not much we could do.

Let's say Ramos called him into the WC team and Julian played thereby provisionally cap-tying him.

Now if Germany showed interest, the US would run the risk of losing him forever if Green was also interested. It's sometimes best to let these kids get Germany out of their system so they can eventually switch back

calm the eff down and why would Klinsmann call in Green for the friendly against Bosnia. There is no way Green is ready for the World Cup team. Your constant cynicism is getting very old.

Why wouldn't you call a player that in getting first team action on Bayern Munich in the pre-season? Geeee I wonder ! Ever heard of Terrence Boyd? He got called up playing in the reserves.

The game is in Europe, no need to fly our MLS forwards out there besides dempsey and donovan. Try a few new players.

I've always stated I say the same sh*t and i favor dual nationals but I know what Im talking about. I criticized both U-20 WC /U-23 olympic roster selections, and guess what: they failed... I was the one constantly talking about Johannsson... Majority of you said he would play for Iceland. Where's he now ? yeah

I guarantee if baby mark cuban (Brian S.) didnt respond, you wouldnt have either. If you don't have people creating controversy, you wouldnt have sh*t to talk about!

I mean personally I really don't think green would have accepted even if he was called up. He knows the magnitude of what he has accomplished at Bayern and rightfully so he's interested in the country that helped him develop into a professional and has the best team. Granted his chances are better for playing time with us but that's only if he performs. He'll ride the Germany train for a while I think. If we're lucky he'll give us a shot. And is there any proof that Tab and klinnsman haven't talked to him? That's not a means of stabbing at your opinion but it is another way of looking at it.

Why worry about it, like someone has already said, let them get Germany out of their system. If we call them in and they play, then Germany comes calling, then they file the one-time switch. It's over. Or we let them play it out, get called into the German youth teams, then get looked over for better players and then they will file the one-time switch our way. Also there were a lot of people talking about the rosters for both the U23 and U20 squads, most everyone knew that the weakness was going to be the backline in both squads. There have been PLENTY of ppl talking about Aron, not sure what you've been reading.

and thats the ongoing problem with US soccer...

There is never any information on player omissions, players declining call-ups, and players that were considered.
