Joke. Promo by NBC for their EPL rights. Hilarious.

Sudeikis so sad he's leaving SNL but great vid. NBC coverage looks to be 100x better than Fox and they haven't even aired a game.

I was very pleased with this. NBC is going to be a big upgrade I think. They are engaging it from the right angle. Making soccer cool and approachable as opposed to its old "pretentious" and "sissy" stereotype. Its funny reading the inevitable and silly battle emerging in the youtube comments...

Somebody needs to tell Timmy Chandler that this video is a joke. He made a tackle in the box in tonight's Pokal match against Sandhausen that looked like he's been training with Sudeikis!

Well, that Timmy tackle was the death of FCN as Sandhausen converted the "11 meter shot" (this is seriously what its called in German) to tie the game at 1-1. After a full 120 minutes with the score tied Sandhausen won on 11 meter shots to send FCN home.

The positive in this is that with FCN having been eliminated from the Pokal on day 1, Timmy has absolutely no excuse for being too tired to travel for US games. He will have Bundesliga games and absolutely nothing else. The schedule can't be any less demanding than that.

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
