Looks like ESPN played a college baseball game in front of the MLS All-Star game on purpose so it would interfere with the game.

Its the 6th inning with 5 minutes until the MLS game starts.

This in now the 4th time baseball interfered with american soccer.

Do you think they would do this with any other sport? No

F*CK ESPN

It truly is sad how many times this happens to soccer on ESPN...

ESPN News it is until the children finish playing baseball.

Florenzi is the real deal.

That bald guy is playing. Glad to see him.

Beckerman will have his hands full.

Good to see Ashe playing.

Wanna see Totti do something amazing.

Hope Yedlin will see some time on the field.

Aww sucks for Zusi. Has to go off with a quad injury in front if the home crowd.

Totti is tearing the defense apart.

Count me as someone who just hates All-star games in every single sport - no matter how much I love the sport.

Gonzo gpt the gpal but it looked the Roma players didnt know if play stopped because the ref blew the whistle.

Nevertheless nice game got boring towards the end. Bradley, Totti, and Florenzi were standouts.

Yedlin had two chances. His second one especially should've done better.

Making any kind of judgment, evaluation, or verification of any kind based on an all-star game is foolish and silly.

For starters, an All-Star team isn't a real team.

I never take anything away from any of the MLS All-star teams. First you are asking a bunch of guys that don't train with eachother on a daily basis to take on some of the top teams in the world. Second these players get 2 count them 2 days to train with eachother. And 3 most All-Star players really don't play that hard in these games any way.

But I will say this Ashe was probably the poorest player on the field.

You cant really judge them when they had so many forwards on the field. They had often times no help with players tracking back. The mls didnt put 11 players behind the ball so often times on a counterattack it would be totti getting so much space with so many roma players attacking the backline with no help other then beckerman. I think vermes wasnt helped by the overabundance of forwards on the team. In reality the roma team was much better then us you could tell the chemistry they had was way better then us. Also mls had players out of position what was supposed to be a 4-4-2 ended up being a 4-3-3 which did not help us at all against romas superior quality. All three of them shouldn't be judged on this game they were facing a team with much higher quality and cohesion versus a team of lower quality with little to no cohesion.

Yeah I don't like All Star games either. Especially when it's one all star game against idk... A team
