This player has been starting every pre season game for Hoffenheim at LB, he has looked really good, and will give Fabian some competition. Also the wing position is crowded and minutes will be spread. oh and he is German American, he came from the youth teams and will most likely battle for first team minutes this season, he has also played for Germany youth national teams.

We are in the need of more LB's. Im not really a fan of Beasley, and think we should look for other options. I prefer Fabian at LW.

If this kid is a starter, we should reach out to him !

I'm down for giving dual nationals the option to play for us, but I hate feeling like we are reliant upon them. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy talking about them, it just worries me a little. I hope within the next cycle we can stop putting so much emphasis on duals.

Hey... I like Americans... Who are we to say who is American American vs a non-American American...

If someone is a citizen... I'll treat them all the same until they show their allegiance elsewhere.

If brooks, jones, Johnson, Johannsson, etc say they want to represent the USA... Who are we to tell them they aren't American enough?

I get the general idea of hoping for more American grown players, I'm all for that. Don't think it needs to be mixed into this discussion of whether a certain player will commit to us or not. I think that's a whole different topic in itself.
