His first touch has been really poor.

Yeah I think it will be a miracle if Sunderland aren't relegated.

Right now I just can't see Altidore starting at the WC.

We all saw what happened at the 2010 WC with a Jozy who was not in form: 0 goals and a lack of sharpness.

Now the USMNT has a striker who is in form, and he should be the starter.

Problem still is I don't think AronJ is comfortable yet on the USMNT international stage. He should have had more playing time by now....Jozy has had years

I honestly dont understand how people think Jozy can get goals. One week the team is filled with attacking intent.

The next week they're hapless.

This team just... seems to get worse and worse breaking their own record of inability to produce anything. Pathetic excuse for a EPL club. Jozy is done with this club for how bad its been to do anything productive hope he goes to a club that will give him some sort of chance to score. Chances of him going to Germany or Italy?

On a bright note: JAB is starting at CB for Hertha, game starts at 11:30.

Jozy will be making his way back to MLS during the summer. 2 miserably awful attempts in England, regardless of how bad the team is. Unless Iceman leaves and he begs AZ to take him back.
If you don't love it, leave it, USA #1

Jozy needs to go back to Holland and complete his Jedi training...he left too soon.

Hindsight is 20/20 but I think he just belongs in a different environment than Sunderland, which will inevitably occur once they're relegated

That's what I said when I heard he transferred to Sunderland. He should of stayed in AZ until after the WC and his stock would of been huge a top 5 team in England would of gone after him for sure. And just imagine the partnership he would of created with Aron. Both of them would of known each other like the back of their hands in the WC. It would of been awesome. I see him coming to MLS next year maybe even Orlando.

So sad that even Geoff Cameron a RB has 2 goals vs Jozy one goal in the EPL and he is a striker. Wonder what does that say about all this mess. Jozy will hopefully good in the WC I hope

You know what's crazy, 4 years ago, we were worried as hell about not having an in form altidore because we had edson buddle robbie findley hercules gomez as our options. In retrospect, really head scratcher that Gomez wasn't seen as the best of the bunch. But now, we have AJ and Boyd at the very least performing in european leagues scoring goals. Wondolowski as well, provides an upgrade to either buddle and findley four years ago.

I don't care how awful jozy has been doing club wise as long as he keeps scoring with the mnt.
