Even if he did (and that's the first time I've heard that) he's still not tied to either country and would still count as an American abroad.

He was never called up by Bosnia. He thought he was but it never happened.

He has said to several media outlets he would accept a US callup.

Update: Gatt and Molde advance to 3rd round, likely to play FC Basel. Tough match. Gatt is injured and didn't play today.

H. Kiryat Shmona and American mid Bryan Gerzicich also advance to 3rd round with a 2-0 game win (2-1 agg.) today vs. MSK Zilina. Went the full 90 and it was a great game. He had a shot on goal and was very dangerous.

FCN had a tough scoreline, no doubt, but I thought Parkhurst did well enough. For most of the game, they were doing a good job of possessing the ball. (Running themselves into the ground, while Chelsea patiently waited, but at least they didnt totally bunker and punt.) Anyways, Parkhurst was playing well up the field and was involved in a few of the most inspired attacks.

He did foul Torres for the FK that lead to the 2nd goal... and the air went out of the balloon quickly from there. But it was the only mistake I noticed

Still if dolo (or chandler) are unavailable, I would be fine with Parkhurst as the next in line at RB.

I like Parkhurst, but I'm afraid he isnt that "Champions League" caliber player that Klinsmann wants. Doesnt necessarily mean he wont find a spot on the USMNT because I think he can serve as an OK backup. He's pretty solid across the back 4, so thats a good quality to have. BUT I wouldnt be fine with him next in line at RB. We need better. I'm still holding out for Chandler. If not, its about time Lichaj gets the nod.

The young soccer careers of Rubio Rubin and Brady Scott are headed in completely opposite directions.
