Will be interesting to see when koman, muller, costa, Sanchez, even robben return what will happen with green but if he continues to perform well no doubt he will get playing time. Its still pre season but he is makinh the most of it. We could have a good group of fwds in the bundesliga in green, wood, Johansson, possibly even Wright might see some action late in the season. And Boyd in 2nd division.

Of those you would say Müller is ahead of Green but the others play wider so it appears he may stick. Ancelotti seems to like him.

Boyd and REdBull Leipzig are in the Bundesliga this season not 2nd division.

Completely forgot they were just promoted even better just imagine if morris would of gone also all our forwards would of been in bundesliga. Well most at least. Also Sanchez is a pure forward he had an outstanding Euro cup so he might be paired with Muller after all thry spend a good chunk on him. And secondly who knows what kind of line up ancelotti likes he has been going with 1 forward in green ribery has been winger. . So many questions but interesting nonetheless... We know he will get a shot at least this season. ..

Yeah....not quite sure where he got that Sanches was a "pure forward." He played in the midfield for Portugal's last 3 knockout round games.

Well done for the lad! Hope he continues to prove his worth. So many had written him off already.

Kind of weird they gave him number 37 still. Good on him though to push through. Wishing him the best for the season!

With Bayern aging up top and him being the only other striker I can see him getting playing time. Imagine a front line rotation that includes Wood, Morris, Pulisic, Morris, Green, Kieswtter, and Zardes that could provide depth we have never had and a rotation which will drive opposing coaches crazy in preparation.

(If Altidore, Boyd, and Johansson can stay healthy that adds more demonsions plus competition to have best player on team)

@ goods

Altidore doesn't belong on the national team right now. Dude only has 2 goals in MLS this season

Do not disagree and much of that is health related. But if and it is a big IF with the three in paranthesis they each add a different dimension that gives depth. Altidore is now a depth guy not even a 23 guy in my mind

Morris isn't in the class of a healthy Boyd, Rubin or Johannsen

Except Morris in one year has shown more quality with the US than those three combined. I'd love for our new crop of forwards to finally start producing but no one has beside Morris and Wood.

With the positive development of young players like Wood, Brooks, Pulisic, Green, CCV, Rubin, Hyndman, Zelalem, and others the US is beginning to look like a very deep and dangerous team. Sound defensively with good technical ability and a potential lethal attack. We're looking very good down the spine of the team....just need the wide players to emerge and we'll be looking pretty good.
