With Goetze leaving and Robben out maybe Green sticks and gets some early run. That would be crazy just to watch people go from claiming he should never be called in to claiming he should be a starter for USA

It would certainly be a moment for us to highlightr the ridiculous knee-jerk nature of most US fans, and hope that they can exercise some patience when this happens in the future... (--they wont)

Bayern do have a lot of games- reference Ancelotti's recent comments about there being only time for games and rest, and we see two issues at play for Green: 1) the coach wants to divide minutes for the important games in the Champions League, yet 2) he doesn't have much time for training the non integral squad players like Green. We will see what Green does in potential limited minutes... as a possible 15-30 minute appearance will lead to more or less time on the field, depending what happens out there. Ancelotti has no reason to have an opinion on Green until he plays in a game, and with Bayerns crowded schedule, it could happen sooner rather than later.

If he sticks with the squad he will get 10-15 bundes starts. Any time they have the double game week he'll start vs the lesser opponent. In ucl weeks at first he'll get those league games and then he Willi probavly start games 5&6 of ucl since they usually clinch 1st after going 4-0. With robben even when healthy you know they won't push him.

If he played 15 total games for Bayern between UCL, league and pokal, that is a big win for Green. I'm telling you guys a lot of you jumped off way too soon, but before the year you can either hop on the bandwagon or stay off. It does have extra room. Two footed, smart attackers don't grow on trees.

^^^ I like this quote... exactly, how many naysayers are enjoying the Wood crow?
Give green time, he will turn out fine...

imagine if wood, pulisic, and green start up top for us?

Those aren't wingers or forwards out of position in a 4 3 3 at that point...

I'm certain to be disappointed.

Another start and another goal for green in the ICC tourney. At this rate it will be surprising if he's not a starter with Munich from the jump.

First half hat trick for Green against Inter. Dude looks really good. Morris, Wood, and other FWDS have competition.

A hat trick in the first 35 minutes. Well done Julian. He's really giving Ancelotti a reason to keep him in the squad.

1st goal was a nice run behind the d on a cross. Second was good placement. 1v1 with the goalie and went far side to beat him. Third was great hand eye coordination to kick in the cross off a deflection.
