I didn't watch. I only heard about it. I heard he was ok.

I would not be disappointed to find out that he's an EPL-quality FB.
Even better if he plays both sides.

Was he just pressed into service for some reason? Or did they play him there on purpose?

I wish Danny would have come on two minutes later, I had Tommy Smith in my Fantasy team and this move cost me a point.

If he has added RB to his repertoire then that can only help his chances.

Changing topics, I hear Zusi now wants to try cm to try and hold onto a roster spot.

Midfield. Looked to be playing the deepest of the three.

Some tweets that I saw about his performance:

Danny Williams carrying the ball forward at speed from defence has been a joy to watch. Has worked well alongside Mooy, very positive

Danny Williams man of the match so far. F++king everywhere

Danny Williams man of the match for me. Aaron Mooy made a fair few errors today

64' CLOSE #htafc 1-1 #lcfc: Danny Williams fizzes a shot just wide of the goal; that wasn't far away at all! (AT)

Danny Williams is many #htafc fans' dream player. A hard working, talented midfielder, who'll absolutely boot someone in the air if needed

Now that he is starting i see no reason for a call up in October.

He doesn't have to be great. He just has to be better than Acosta.

lol he's also better than Bradley. Quicker, faster, stronger, cleaner first touch, better technique, better tackler. Just a few of the things he does better than the untouchable Captain America.

Despite playing well in a tougher league than his competitors, I doubt DW gets a call in October...Arena has not had eyes on him.

Exactly, there seems to be a nascent bias against players not in MLS(and Dual citizens), he may even drop FJ, just watch guys.
