Williams with the assist for Readings goal in the first half. He is playing really well since coming back from injury two weeks ago.

If Reading win today they will be on 31 points and only 4 points off of an automatic spot for promotion to the EPL.

nice. would love to see d will put himself into the CM (DM) convo for brazil. rounding into some nice form/health AND a guy to grow on through the next cycle. good combo

also... tim ream seems to playing some really good ball for bolton at CB (shredder had a nice article somewhere) ... deserves to part of the conversation as well (although looks like a long shot at this point)

I am not sure if Danny is going to make the team in Brazil. It'll be a tough climb with just one friendly on a FIFA date before the WC camp in May.

But with Beckerman and Jones very unlikely to be on the 2018 WC team, I can see Williams having a big role next cycle.

oh that is nasty

i dont think JK will hesitate to move williams ahead of beckerman on the DM pecking order. he knows KB just can not cover the ground or match the superior physicality that williams offers

Oh the dream of having an athletic quick DM paired with Bradley. Sadly I don't see it happening in Brazil (I don't mean about Williams specifically, I mean in general).

Another 90 minutes for Danny Williams in Reading's 1-0 win over Huddersfield. Duane Holmes also got on the pitch in about the 70th min for Hudd as a sub.

Danny Williams is stating his case to Jurgen who is watching closely to be sure.

And they hold on to win 1-0.

I have always been one to hate on Beckerman, but he has impressed me with his last few outings with the MNT, and has been stellar thus far for RSL. Honestly, at this point, I would rather see either Beckerman or Danny Williams ahead of JJ to be paired with Bradley. I think JK should seriously consider using either of those two ahead of JJ come June.

Funny how he is 25 yet. He definite can be quality option for Russia. Still reaching his peak, hope he can play Prem football next season.

Good half. Broke up some attacks for Reading. Got forward really well. Drew a foul. Almost had a great assist for McCleary but the Leicester GK rushed at him and knocked it away.

Some bad giveaways. Distribution is his biggest weakness. Should've done better with his header that lead to the goal but it was a great goal.
