I keep reading a mix result on Tab Ramos saying he doesn't know what he is doing etc. I know the Zimmerman is a head scratcher but personally he is those rare american coaches that is aggressive in attack and less defense. He is what we need in the youth to push forward the program in creating attack minded players? What you guys think personally?

In a lot of ways the U20 team did better with possession and finding each others runs than the MNT. Tactically sound going forward, just horrible defending.

Knowing what Spain had up front, I think he botched the CB pairing. Should have had someone very fast back there kneeling Yedlin would push forward.

I like the way we played though, Ramos will learn from this. I like the way he has the team playing although I don't think our defensive mid is playing deep enough. When we attacked there were always 4 Spanish players defending worst case. When they attacked they isolated our defense and would be going against 3 players too many times.

I don't want Ramos to be ditched for a few mistakes, you can see he has them playing a pleasant style.

I was never on board with Ramos. Don't care for his roster selection and he never gave any information on player omissions.

As i keep saying, the players are too small and are no threat on corners or set pieces.

Tactics wise, I was impressed with the early pressure, but he needed to back off at certain times because those kids would get tired.

Since the U20 level are more attacking, I dont think you need a D mid player.

Ramos gets all the blame for the backline selection but injuries and non commitments didnt help either.

What I like from Ramos and Idk if anyone can tell but he is really passionate about the whole program and he will take risks to make progress in the usa game. Personally he is the man going forward.

US fans should be happy how they played but upset with the result. A couple big defensive mistakes seems to be the theme of US soccer these days on all levels. Injuries didn't help but when you force a team like Spain to resort to long balls over the top you done well. However, you need fast defense with no mistakes as well against Spain's forwards. We didn't have that! All-in-all I was impressed with 90 % of the play.

I have been skeptical about Ramos. Not of his offensive tactics, but with his player selection from the beginning. But at U-20 level I really like what Ramos is trying to implement. He should stay on for another cycle at the very least.

In honesty, cutting Zimmerman and keeping Torre is the only roster selection I have serious problems with

Not rating McBean before his injury was annoying but not outrageous

On Walker Zimmerman not being called into represent the U.S. Under-20 team in the World Cup...

[The U.S. U-20s] could have definitely used [Zimmerman]. We were surprised he wasn't on the roster. At the same time, those coaches made decisions for their own reasons. We like Walker a lot. The more you'll see of him the more you'll like him. He's such a competitor. He's such a good guy. The guys like being around him. He's got great timing and a lot of courage when he gets near the ball. He's going to be a good one for us.

But you're right Tab Ramos, a guy who can't start in college games, deserves a spot in place of Zimmerman. HAVING A GOOD CAMP MEANS JACK SHIT. Pick the players who do well at their club/college teams.

Your right on this one. Why he didnt call Zimmerman is beyond my knowledge. Heck Zimmerman not being 100% is better than a college player who doesnt play in MLS >.>. We def are paying the mistake greatly
