2tone - Do you see a future for Cropper?

That's going to be hard sledding for him.

Right now you have Bill Hamid at 22 and Sean Johnson at 24 who both are better right now and the foreseeable future IMO. Then you have Guzan who could very well be the starter for both 2018 and the 2022 US WC teams.

I think his talent level is more of a Chris Sietz or Troy Perkins rather than a Friedel or Howard.

That's why Bill Hamid and Sean John start in MLS and Cropper plays for South Hamptons U-21's.

I always love when people say thing's like what you did. You must have context. Also Cropper isn't breaking into Southampton's first team anytime soon.

The English and Eurocentric's never cease to amaze me.

Just because he is in England right now does not mean he will be good enough to stay in England.

Are the Ghana players tall as well? If so, I fear our coach will pick Torre again (how many goals does he need to concede until he gets dropped?) Also, when one player gets injured in a WC, can a replacement be called in???? Isn't Danny Garcia injured? Why can't he be replaced with Zimmerman.

No Ghana is not tall. Second you cannot replace players on a roster when a FIFA tournament starts.

Idk why hamid is considered a future player. His play with DC united is terrible the mistakes that he is making are dumb and Sean he is average he doesn't bring much.
Now cropper he atleast is developing in England he might not be a starter for Southampton but that just means he has skill to be on a tree thar really has a good rate of developing talent in my opinion I'm pretty sure that we will see cropper stuart in a world cup before we see bill or sean

Mexico is about to bomb out in a fairly weak Group.

El Salvador is beating Australia. It's looking like things are setting up in USA's favor to be one of third place teams if they beat Ghana.

Second consecutive loss for Mexico.

Yep things are setting up nicely for the US to move on if they beat Ghana.

But it's looking more likely that the US will face either Colombia or Portugal in the next round if they are to qualify out of the group.

Spain/France > Columbia/Portugal

I'm okay with this. What a group we have...

The Ghana game will not be easy either, we'll have to get through them first.

Does Ghana have a shot at a 3rd place team to progress if they beat us? If not, this should help us.

All 4 of those teams are in the pre-tournament winners bracket. All I am saying is this US team was set up to face 3 out of the 4 hardest teams at this tournament at the beginning.

If this team beats Ghana and makes it past their next opponent either Colombia or Portugal the US will definitely have earned their stripes for this tournament.

All USA has to do win and their in, No matter by how much.. And yes Ghana still has a chance to qualify but they need help from other teams.. Also USA can get second but they will need a goal differential and help by Spain also.. I think Spain will go easy and have some backups since they already qualified.. Ghana is a tough team so USA has to be composed and not play desperately unless is need it in the last mins or so..
