3-1 doesn't look as good after watching the highlights.

It was given from Portugal, so perhaps they avoided some of the promising USA attacks, but just like against Italy... They had numerous chances but couldn't capitalize as much as they probably should have. Cropper with many solid saves, hopefully he stays hot going into the tourney.

That is def. what I thought after seeing those highlights. Portugal looked like they pretty much dominated, but couldn't finish jack shit. Glad we were able to capitalize on their mistakes, but it wasn't as good of a win as you'd think with a 3-1 scoreline.

Those were Portugal-centric highlights. Those highlights came from the Portuguese FA.

Stats:

Portugal: 10 shots on goal

US: 7 shots on goal

Portugal only had 3 more shots on goal.

Being that it was in Portugal one would think that the Portugal U-20 team would have a bit more of the ball.

US still won, and pretty much shut Portugal down in the second half.

Sometimes it's good to know the finer details about a game. Highlights are never a good barometer of a game.

irrelevant to the match but reports are coming out saying Danny Garcia has signed a HGP contract with Dallas.

Awesome. I love how the MLS is signing and playing young guys. Whether they are USMNT eligible or not it brings big transfers and good publicity if/when they pan out

Speaking of youth players... can't find where I read it this morning but apparently Bolton and Tottenham are looking at a young US keeper. 18-20 in age? Didn't recognize the name.

Worthless post without a name, but maybe someone knows who I'm speaking of.
