Lamar Neagle is playing out of his mind for Seattle.

Landon Donovan with a friendly reminder that he's still alive and well

Olmes Garcia with a sick header for RSL to grab a late lead

Russell Teibert setting up two goals for Vancouver early.

Both are only 20 and showing some great quality

Actually, I'd say Player of the Week would go to Neagle with goal, assist, and drawn PK in 3-2 win over Vancouver.

If Neagle continues to play like he has been then I could see him starting to get some love from Klinsmann soon. He can play as a second striker as well as LW and RW. Has a very high work ethic with more than enough skill. He has fairly good speed and looks just as strong running from the first minute to the 90th minute.

Thought Yedlin was strong again. Still needs to work a little on the defense, but that will come with time.

Seattle is going to be a breeding ground for future national team players. Neagle, Yedlin, and Morris could and probably will all be national team players in the future.

Great post

Seems like a cool kid, hope he can figure out the citizenship dilemma sooner than later.

Fagundez with out a doubt would be on the preliminary gold cup roster right now if he was an American citizen

My question is how can the law be so convoluted that a simple set of scenarios can't be stated to explain exact timelines for him (his timeline if he gets married to an American and stays in America, his timeline if he stays in America but not married, etc). How is it unknown what the various situational timelines are??

I wonder if there can be special conditions so he can play for the US. I mean whether its like staying in the country as a promise or something of that sort of border lines. Now im no Lawyer but playing football is like a job and its basically welcoming talent to the country and its obvious to wanna accept. Diego is not only someone that is going to contribute to the country but seems to wanna give back to the country that gave him a change. Another special scenario maybe can be where he promises to plays for the stars and stripes if he is giving the citizenship.
