Two new Americans in Portugal's top flight.

Both will be in a good position to see their US stock rise.

Taylor has speed and can score.

Patterson-Sewell had a great season in Portugal's second. US team needs backups to Howard.

Setubal just sold their #1 from last season.

This was to pave the way for CPS to be their number 1

I am hoping that he is called in as a third keeper this fall. US needs all the GK it can get. The pool is not as deep as people think.

CPS had a good season last year and this way it will keep Australia away from him .

Why is no one talking about Taylor for the USMNT? This guy can play either wing and as a striker.

I really think there are some under utilised attacking options for Klinsmann that he is not really taken advantage of.

I think this guy has a lot of raw talent and potential. His speed and finishing abilties remind me of pre-accident Charlie Davies.

All I know is that the USMNT needs to upgrade in speed on the wings with technical skill, and Taylor has plenty.

Gyau, Gatt, Pontius, and Taylor are the players I expect to see brought in over the next year.

I agree on Taylor being underrated or under utilized, I really liked him in the U-23 camps and thought he added something different as a wing forward option.

Would love to see Gyan, Gatt, Taylor getting chances in the near future as the full team has no real wingers and very little speed.

Taylor has been coming off the bench a lot recently for Estoril...anyone seen him play?

We desperately need wingers so I'd like to see him given a chance at the Gold Cup this summer.

@ 2 tone

What side of the field can Tony Taylor play wing ?

@ dolcem

Yeah, I agree. Even though i hate the gold cup, this generation of the B team might be interesting

Zusi is much better than Taylor.

Doubt Taylor gets a call. Estoril has had a ton of injuries

based on the highlight reel i just saw of Tony Taylor on youtube i would disagree but I've never seen him play for his club

He's also 3 years younger than zusi......

zusi gets more nervous in his final pass than michael bradley does while being pressured by a mexican defender
