With Beasley getting his 100th cap tonight, the US has now had 13 players hit the century mark making us the #1 country by far.

Mexico is #2 with 9 players and five countries have 8 players (although Lahm and Schweinsteiger are both sitting at 98 caps so Germany should have 10 players in the near future).

With the US becoming a much deeper team than a decade ago, I think it will become more challenging for Americans to get 100 caps in the future.

So which current players will hit the 100 cap mark?

Very Likely:
1) Dempsey - 95 caps
2) Bradley - 75 caps

Quite Likely
1) Jozy - 56 caps

1) Howard - 86 caps
2) Cherundolo - 87 caps

If Howard and Dolo are both with the team through Brazil (if we qualify) and then retire it will be close but Howard should get there. Dolo is a longer shot due to missing these next four games and his tougher battle to keep his position.

Who else do you think may get 100 caps? If Agudelo breaks out he could get there. He already has 17 caps and is still only 20 years old.

I think Deuce, Bradley, Jozy, Howard and Dolo will all get it. Deuce is almost there. Bradley will be with US at least till 2014. Jozy too. Howard and Dolo will be starters till 2014. So they have one year to get 14 and 13 caps. I think it's really possible. Dolo is fighting against injuries, maybe he's the most questionable.

Clint is the type of player who will do nothing for 70 minutes and be a waste of space and clog things up but has the capability to put it in the back of the net and win you a game. Congrats on getting to 100 but now that he is in MLS, I see him featuring less often.

It's a shame that such a huge milestone came on such a terrible night but that doesn't deter from everything Clint has brought to the USMNT. His place in history is well established even if he never suits up again.
