Bahia lost 7-3 to their rivals on sunday. Today they fired their coach, of all of 5 games...but this just in as well..they got rid of 14 players. Kicked them right off the team lol... Freddy Adu is not one of those players. That is good news for him. Hopefully now he gets the minutes he deserves and the fans were asking for.

can you just get rid of 14 players just like that? seems odd but they got waxed by their rivals.

Freddy Adu goes 30 minutes for Bahia and impresses. Fans were really pleased with how well Adu played. He was put in at the CAM/second striker position. Everything ran through him offensively and Bahia looked much more dangerous offensively. Adu was continually fouled, put in defense splitting passes, and dribbled around multiple players throughout his 30 minutes.

Looks like this new coach will play Adu.

More starts/minutes could mean that Klinsmann can't ignore him for the Gold Cup. The Brasilian Serie A starts soon for Bahia May 26th.

According to IFFHS(International Federation of Football History and Statistics) the Brasilian Serie A is the second best league in the world.

He took players off the dribble like it was nothing. Give him some time, he will get more min. I was surprised it was on firstrow to watch.

I'm glad for Adu, even tho I haven't see him play for his new club but from what I'm reading in here looks like he doing well. That's is a good league for Adu cause they let you be and let you be very technical. I always say that Adu is a good player and he is our own Gio Do Santos for the USA He always play well when he were the US National Jersey. But I just hope that JK is watching him cause is up to him to keep track on Adu. No matter how everyone here are writing good thing about Adu is all up to Klissman.

This was better news than the U-20 roster announcement

@Alcharod

good looking out on the firstrow sports info

Im disappointed I missed that game after hearing how well freddy adu did.

I watch 99% of games on that website... Can't believe I missed seeing that listed.

If he can make the gold cup, i will be stoked

That was the first Bahia game I've seen on Firstrow. I was at my gf's in Philly so i had to WISELY click back and forth checking in on him lol... I'm REALLY excited to see him play in the Brasileirão. Tired of the Salvador State League lol...They start the Brasileirão in six days yessss! They play Cricklewood. If i see it on Firstrow I'll keep you guys informed. He he can consistently get 30min and bring that up...he will be just fine. Hopefully he impresses and gets on the Gold Cup roster like you said though. Praying for him
