You know I really wish analysts and fans would stop predicting Villarreal and Brooks getting called up to the Gold Cup.

Villarreal is no where close to the senior level, not even the gold cup b team.
If any kid was close to national "b" team consideration, it would be Yedlin and brooks but thats not even possible because of the tournament overlapping

Im more interested to see gyasi Zardes get more experience at forward than villarreal

I disagree about Villarreal not being close.

I am more interested in Villarreal and Zardes pairing up more versus seeing Keane and Donovan paired up. But thats because I would rather see young talented American players get more playing time. Both Zardes and Villarreal are top talents. Don't know why everyone has to do this either or thing all of the time with American players.

Villarreal set up Zardes for his goal. It was a beautiful ball in pinpointed right onto Zardes' head.

Doesn't matter because both will see a lot of time. Zardes will see quite a bit with Villarreal gone for a month in the summer.

Villarreal will continue to see a lot of minutes before leaving for the U-20 WC.

Because its "either or" when you ONLY have 23 spots on roster

example: "Either" i go with landon donovan who is slowing down but is still good in the final 1/3

OR I go with zusi who is younger but sucks in the final 1/3

Uhm you were talking about the Galaxy not the USMNT. And in no way is Zardes even close to a USMNT call-up.

"get more experience" implies seeing more time with the Galaxy for Zardes not the USMNT.

Is it to hard for you to be stoked to have two talented forwards? I think it's funny you are taking sides for Zardes. When both are talented, and have bright futures.

Oh and I wouldn't be surprised to see Zusi and Lando on the field at the same time. Don't know why that is an either or statement as well.

The "either or" argument can also be applied to the LA galaxy starting XI

The reason people compare American players because they are competition for each other for the next level. Not everyone can start or be called up to a limited roster selection

either keane/zardes, keane/villarreal or villarreal/zardes

I'd prefer Keane/zardes. I think zardes will be better than villarreal in the long run

Maybe he will, maybe he won't. I want to see more Villarreal/Zardes. Keane is getting old and will have injury problems, so I think it's in Bruce Arena's best interest to not play Keane all of the time.

I like both players. Both will see a lot of time. I don't have a horse in this race because I like them both. And also Jordan Morris will be better than both anyway. JK. Morris will be an amazing player though for the Sounders in a few years.

have you seen Jordan Morris play? I know he's had great reviews and really stood out but he hasn't played a pro game yet, isn't it a little far fetched to say that until he steps on a professional field?

first of all I said I was kidding in regards to how Morris is going to be better than Villarreal and Zardes. But all indications are that this kid is the real deal and more.

Second- The guy has scored 22 goals in 22 academy games for the U-18 Sounders. And the academy season isn't over yet.

Third: I have not personally seen him play yet, but Sigi and the Sounders brass are looking at signing him to a homegrown contract this summer. But that all depends on if he decides to forgo college.

Lastly: He provided 6 assists and scored 2 goals when called up to his first U-20 camp. Ramos made it a point to tell the soccer media how good Morris was.

The kid has a butt load of talent. He is extremely quick( outpacing Yedlin to a few balls which is saying something becasue Yedlin is fast), size at 5'11", and impressive technical skills according to the Sounders coaching staff and the US U-20 coaching staff.

We will find out how good he is in the coming years. Not only that all indications are is that he will be on the Toulon Tourney US U-20 team. So we all will get a chance to see him soon enough.

don't rank Morris, Villarreal, and Zardes just yet and say Morris won't be better. I don't think anyone in America thought Yedlin would be this good this fast. I'm pretty sure Ramos is hitting himself for snubbing Yedlin from qualifying. Yedlin and Morris could be the start of a pipeline coming out of Seattle

I agree. I think the major pipelines for US talent will be: Seattle, Portland, LA, Dallas, New York, Philly, and Houston.
