Let's not talk about players who aren't representing the USA

Training. They seem to be taking their time as far as games. Just playing it safely.

Glad for him. I know he felt slighted that he wasn't picked by the US. But sh!t happens. Hopefully him and Pelosi keep doing well at Liverpool.

The truth is that Bijev didn't perform well when Ramos called him in. Add also to the fact that he was rarely playing at the time, is the reason why Bijev wasn't part of the U-20's last summer. I am not saying Ramos didn't make some mistakes with the roster because he clearly did, but it's hard to argue in favor that Bijev should have been on that U-20 team.

I hope he continues to play well though. Maybe he suits up for the USMNT one day if he doesn't get capped by Bulgaria's senior team.

Bijev played 80 mins in his second straight start, same as last week moving back and forth from CF and RW. Played even better today, and his movement is tremendous. Had a fantastic assist from the RW, played in a curling ball splitting the two CBs and Lussey heading it into the corner. Couple of shots, one going inches wide and forcing a good save from the Wolves keeper.

Didn't get the start at Anfield, came on as a sub for the last 25 mins. Worked hard all over the pitch doing a great job of pressing upfield. Didn't get a shot but created quite a few for Dunn, Peterson, and Lussey with his movement and runs across the backline. Did a good job of holding up the ball and provided a beautiful cross that Peterson barely missed on, would have tied the game.

Actually not a bad player....it wasn't like he was out of place on the U21s. He performed well every chance he got.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a championship side give him a look. Maybe even a team like Fulham or Norwich since they will be losing there higher priced guys

Not Fulham.....their U21 side is very good. Some of the other lower table clubs that don't have the quality in the U21 sides could use him.

I was talking about the senior team. Not the U21. If he can't make a championship level game day 18 now then he needs to leave England and play in some Eastern European league.
