Bijev is playing for Bulgaria. Did he let us? Did we lose him? Please somebody answer me, 'cause i'm really concerned about it. For me he's one of the best prospects we have.

Doubt it..... US didn't call him up, he might just want some games at a world tourney. He will have his time at Liverpool U21s now that he will have a full off-season training with them, and preseason also. Morgan will most likely be loaned out. That leaves Yesil, Bijev, and Ngoo for the 9.

So you think he's still with us and prefer to play for US?

The US wasn't calling him..Bulgaria was, so of course he would accept. His first choice was the US so if we call again im sure he will drop Bulgaria...

Yesil was injured for awhile so I don't know how fresh he will be, hopefully bijev can over take ngoo for the spot. He needs consistent PT, that's the only way I can see him getting called by the US.

Yesill will be back by August, and once healthy will jump to #1. I haven't seen enough of Bijev to see whether he can overtake Ngoo, as Ngoo is extremely talented matched with a very imposing physical stature. Not to mention that Armin Hodzic finally got his work permit also. The good thing for Bijev is that Ngoo can play on the outside as can Yesil though Yesil is much better as a 9 and will mostly likely get the spot when 100%.

Bijev doesnt even deserve to be on this squad now..,hasnt done nothing to prove himself.. There are around 10 players that deserve a chance over him, that dint get selected.

Bijev got the start and played the full 90 for Liverpool U21s vs Stoke. He had a very good game moving back and forth from CF and RW. He is much quicker than I remember and good on the ball. Had one really good shot from about 25 out, passed to him, he held the ball up, then quick stepover and made space for himself and hammered a shot, keeper had to go full extension to make the save. Had a bunch of good 1-2s with Jack Dunn. Should start again Thursday.

You serious Clark? He played both u18 and u20 for The Nats. Going by your standard we should just delete all the Julian Green threads right now. And no one should dare mention a word about Gedion Zelalem.
