I may be a Seattle fan, but what the Timbers did for Atticus Lane-Dupre, and his teammates is beyond classy they just set a new standard. Tear jerker.

The human race can be so compassionate when they want to.

Gives you the chills seeing people come together like that for the youngster. Will never understand why we can't act like this on a daily basis as a Country that is as great as ours is.

The most incredible part to me is they got 3000 people, not Portland players but regular guys, to go to the stand and sing the chants they do during Timbers games. Huge kudos to that whole area

This is the quote that really makes me believe in the human race and remember Atticus is 8 years old !!

"Usually kids just choose to go to Disneyland with their family or getting something," Atticus explained. "I chose something that lots of people could do."

Here is the whole article from the MLS website.
The video is awesome! watch it and make sure you have some tissues handy. I think they say the 3000 people are from the Timber's supporters club! Hats off to Portland Timbers!!!

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
