Uhm, no Flores should not be moved to the U-20's for this cycle. Next cycle possibly.

Still think Green should be considered for this U-20 cycle.

I would enjoy seeing him in camp - Sonora that is, but I doubt they pull him up an age group. He was the best player on the field when he was on the field in my opinion. I would like to see him vs. better defenders.

kind of related to the U20s camp but the theme of the MLSers who were called were players who haven't got first team minutes with their club teams. Would you guys feel that the best thing for at least Trapp and Lopez is to be loaned out to Dayton and Orlando City. The playing time alone after the U20s could do wonders for both of them and the USMNT

The next U20 cycle starts probably in September... there really isn't a sense of pushing him up

Fair enough. I really liked what I saw from him and hope he continues to develop into an elusive, creative play-maker.

He is listed as a FWD, but I have heard he is more of a CAM. Thats good he is showing well for Ramos.

He played on the right as a wide forward and later as the target forward.

According to more reports is that he is deceptively fast; beating out Yedlin in a foot race for a ball. Which is saying something because Yedlin is fast.

He is slated to go to Stanford, but I could easily see Seattle offering him a HG contract to stay in Seattle or offering him a HG contract after one year with Stanford.

Kid seems to be pretty talented.

Reports are that Danny Garcia showed quite well too.

Oh and Villarreal is with the team if people didn't know.

The reports I've heard were not encouraging for Omar Salgado or Wi Trapp.

Yedlin, Morris, and Sean Cunningham played well.

I think Salgado is a long shot.

Will Trapp on the other hand will probably be with the team.

Thats incredible! Could he be the answer to all of our questions?! Is he more Messi or Ronaldo like??? Am I reading to much into assists during u-20 inter-squad scrimmages? Thanks for that breathtaking update B Shred...
For I am creator of all things soccer. Seek repentance or just beat Mexico, either will get you in up here.

So the players that made big impressions were:

Jordan Morris- Kid seems to be the real deal from reports by Top Drawer Soccer. Has deceptive speed, very good technical skills, and forced his way into the starting 11 at LF for the U-20's first team team yesterday in their game against Cal FC. Looks like Cuevas will have some competition for that position

Alfred Koroma- Scored some goals and showed much better than Salgado. Could give Villarreal competition for the lone striker position.

Dillon Serna- Played more in his natural wing position.

Danny Garcia- Scoring goals, and being a mighty mite.

Javan Torre and Jeffrey Payeres who partnered really well at CB. If Brooks decides for Germany then I think Cb will be fine with Payeres, Torre, O'Neill and Zimmerman( who is still not over his injury), and you can always put Stanko at CB as well.

Players that didn't show well

Salgado- Not 100 percent healthy yet, but not very good overall. Koroma has a big leg up on him now.

Trapp- Struggled at times from what I hear.

Looks like Ramos will have some player decisions to make for the Toulon tournament.

Since Ramos called up Morris who is 18 and Acosta 17 it's a strong possibility Julian Green 18 may get a call-up to the next camp before the WC, or maybe a call-up to the Toulon Tournament.

I've heard very good things about Jordan Morris' performance at the camp as well

I love it when players come out of nowhere to step up and make themselves known

You know I am slightly surprised that Kellen Gulley hasn't been called in yet for a U-20 camp. Kid has a lot of talent.
