Jack Mac now has 18 goals before his 21st birthday and leads the league with 6 this season.

2 really well taken goals today.

I like Jack Mac but I think he needs to sustain this run of form for a couple more weeks before ppl start calling for his inclusion into the Senior Team. He is only 20, and I see him more of a player for 2018, we should be patient with these types of players. You call him up now, I'm not sure his game is complete enough for the next level even for the B level Gold Cup squad. Plus we have better young forwards that need playing time that have been already capped (Boyd, and Agudelo). Just my 2 cents.

McInerney has been a lot more effective than Agudelo recently. He reads the game really well.

2tone, I know in the past you have mentioned being "high", if you will, on Kitchen. He has a nice finish today as well. What are your thoughts on him at this point?

(Or anyone's thoughts for that matter)

Uhm Agudelo is injured. Before that Agudelo was definitely Chivas USA's best attacker, and really Chivas' lack of attacking weight has been felt without Agudelo.

Agudelo has been asked to be a striker/creator when on the field.

Mac has been asked to be a striker.

I like both Agudelo and Mac, and it's quite clear that the state of the USMNT striker corps will be quite good for the next 10 years. Altidore, Boyd, Mac, Agudelo, Wood, and Bruin will be as good a striking corps the USMNT has ever had INMHO.

I think it's safe to say that the 2018 WC cycle should be in good striking boots.

On Perrry Kitchen: I really rate him. It's seems to me that if Olson could get a better CM partner for him; Kitchen would be much more effective. I do think, and have thought for at least 6 months now that Kitchen is better than Danny Williams. I wouldn't be surprised to see Kitchen on the Gold Cup team as a CM/DM not as a CB as one analyst projected.

I think McCarty should eb on teh Gold Cup team as well.

Here are the CM's/DM's I would like to see for the Gold Cup team:

Holden, O'Brien, McCarty, Kitchen, Morales

Here are the CB's I would like to see:

Okugo, John, Besler, Schuler

I like Kitchen too! He is like a kyle beckerman type of player that is going to be 10x better. Actually at 21 he is already better than Beckerman.

I agree with you there but I'll still take Agudelo over Mac, he's just a more complete player at this stage in his career.

Agudelo cant seem to stay healthy. From his recent tweets it seems like he rushed it back to early and is going to take it real slow (possibly to not hurt a euro transfer?) I wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt get back until after the may camp and if he's focused on securing a transfer may not be willing to be part of the gold cup team

He can leave on a free transfer in the winter I'm pretty sure. If I was Agudelo I would play out this season in MLS where he has finally found somewhere consistent to play at Chivas and where Chivas wants him to play a big role, before his injury. he should get more experience and take the Gold Cup minutes because this is only the significant minutes he'll get this year and hey, if he does well at the Gold Cup more minutes in qualifying and a better shot at moving to a better club in the winter.

I disagree. Chivas has more to gain by selling him in the summer as opposed to losing him for free. Also I dont think many guys are going to transfer this coming winter as its very risky. If you transfer to an in form team you have to impress and get minutes right away or you risk losing form and your spot to Brazil. Thats why this summer is a HUGE transfer window

Hear me out on this one: Juan to FC Dallas

I personally feel like Juan would really get into his stride under the mentorship of one Blas Perez. They play very a similar style of soccer (half hold up man, half slippery striker) and I think he'd be able to grow by leaps and bounds if he spent a season or two playing with him before a move to Europe.
