I don't know. If people are saying Gyau shouldn't be on the 30 man roster than there is no way Zelalem should be.

Hell I would put Zelalem, Green, and Gyau on the 30 man roster if I was the coach. Why not? Davis has shown he can't really play at the international level. Is there really a need for Edu, Beckerman, Jones, and Williams? Do it Klinsy. Might as well confuse our opponents before the WC even starts.

I would say Gil, but he is injured.

Gyau is one that could be a real game changer if somehow made it to Brazil. Has some experience and is not new to the scene like Green and Gedion(less pressure). Would like to see him in the 30 as well.

We are most likely seeing the last WC of players like Deuce, Dono, & Jones..why not bring in the next generation that will most likely replace them.. Not old faces that wont see a call up in 2015...Davis, Wondo, and others..

Isn't that what 2015-2018 is for?

I think Williams is definitely underrated by the majority of US fans.

DWill looked horrible when we played him on the wing, I think a lot of folks remember that.

He's a super solid D-Mid, I hope his knee heals and is included in the 30.

I have a feeling Klinsmann will throw in a couple surprise inclusions, but in all honesty Zelalem will not be one of them.

If he gets his citizenship and wants to play for the US, klinsmann will for sure call him in. He is no different from the Julian Green call-up.

Klinsmann would call in Shawn Parker too if he got him to file a one-time switch.

I think we're more likely to be surprised by the inclusion of unpopular players like Evans, Davis or Castillo than we are to see last minute additions. I hope I am wrong but it would be very Klinsmann-esque to stick with what he knows.

Regarding the late additions of guys who either only recently gained interest from JK or fell out of favor but have returned to form, who is the most likely to make the team? Ream, Brooks, Chandler, Yedlin, Edu, Agudelo, Boyd, and Green seem most likely. A handful of these guys should make the 30 man roster.

Well that's what you will do since you've been calling for Zelalem, Parker and Green non stop. Green will most likely go since we're lacking wingers, Parker too little too late, and for Zelalem we're pretty stacked in mid field so it's highly unlikely that he will go to brazil. He'll attend camp, but no way he goes to Brazil.

Going to the camp in itself would be a huge and pleasant surprise (for me at least)

I agree. I think he will be in camp for sure. For us to show him we are serious and to try and get a leg up on Germany. But I don't think he goes to Brazil. Unless he does something just out of this world in camp.

He has a unique skill set to be a late game sub to actually make plays. He is a playmaker. We have ZERO playmakers. I would take him over Green. Would rather have Zelalam and Shea. Davis and Green left off.

Come to think of it, has Julian Green even recovered yet from his injury?

What's with the cynicism towards Green? Green has a unique skill set as well. Being able to take on players and set up guys from the wing. Green is actually a playmaker as well.

And Green is not injured anymore.

If Zelalem attends the WC camp it won't be as an official camp player. Kind of what Bruce did with Adu back in 2006. He had him come in and train with the team.

I see nothing wrong with inviting Zelalem to the camp in an unofficial capacity. It allows him to see what things are like, and it allows Klinsmann and his staff to evaluate Zelalem heading into the next WC cycle.
