He's learned that he can count on either Ramsey or Wilshire being out for long portions of the season, usually after the new year. Ol' Jackie is needing another cig so as soon as Gedion gets back he'll go down with an ankle injury.

Gedion still wouldn't play...

Ozil, Sanchez, Ox, Walcott, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky, Arteta, Flamini, Coquelin, Cazorla and Welbeck would all play before Gedion.

No some of them are not Central Mids, but some of the guys that we have playing on the outside can and have played in a Central role and would play there before Gedion, allowing some of the others (like Welbeck and Walcott who are FWs) to play on the wing for those guys.

Strictly CMs we have Ozil, Ramsey, Ox, Cazorla, Wilshere, Arteta, Flamini, Coquelin that would all play ahead of Gedion.

That's a LOT of injuries for him to even get on the bench.

Most likely he will end up on a team that's not Arsenal permanently. It's gonna be hard to break into that group, let alone any more incoming players in the future years. And that's not a bad thing either. Quite the talent, he needs to grow and play- if he's good enough he will make the real USMNT in due course.

Hamsamwich,

That is definitely a possibility.
However I do not think Wilshere, Rosicky, Arteta, Flamini will be around for too much longer. Certainly not in 3 years when Gideon will most likely be ready for EPL (Good chance Wenger will give him that long).
Wenger's theory is that you learn how to play football (skills, etc) at the academy, he won't loan you out or put you in the squad until you are ready in that aspect. Guys like Wilshere played earlier because they started out younger in the Academy than Gideon did. Even still most don't break in until early 20's. So Gideon has 2-3 years of being loaned out.

At that point the only CM's may be Ozil, Ramsey, Coquelin...With Ox, Walcott, and Sanchez as the Wide Midfielders.

As far as Coquelin they are completely different players (Gideon is a lot more highly regarded than Coquelin was...who was basically on his way out). More than likely you'll see GZ (if the above scenario happens) as Ozil's backup.

Well no Scottish teams in the Champs League. Shows how pathetic that league is i could just Imagine how much worst their 2nd division is. I'm sure there were some championship teams that would of taken him he would of been better of there.

Any news on a potential loan deal? I read an article this morning that Wenger was considering keeping guys like Zelalem and Reine-Adelaide around to have a more hands-on influence on their development. Ill believe it when I see it. I think he needs to get first team football again.

Here is some news on Zelalem. I do not have a clue on the level of play in League One.

It's MLS level, maybe even a little better. Not the desired move for fans but wouldn't be the worst loan move.

I would say that's a little harsh on MLS, Spanks. MLS has a couple teams that could be competitive in the Championship especially with some of the DPs. But regardless, would be a solid move for GZ. Kid has to play.

League One is not MLS level thats a joke. Even English fans agree that MLS is championship level. Ill say this if Sunderland can be an EPL team then I can see some of our MLS teams surviving thats all

GZ going to League is terrible might as well just him to MLS at that rate, at least that will increase his physicallity

Well when you talk about the top teams in League One who ate promoted, they clearly are at Championshop level, just like there are some teams in the Championship who could fight to hang around in the Premeir League. In any case, League One is a step up from the Scottish 2nd Division and another promotion battle for a proud club in a tough league will do GZ some good.

Yes of course but in overall championship is MLS level. But I think my main point is for an exciting prospect or the "next fabregas" I was expecting a bit more by now. Still 19 still young of course Arsenal tough team to break into now adays so hopefully things change and hope Im wrong on that assumption.

Even if cant break in and goes to a smaller club we need creative player like him

So one report came out that a team was interested and because it wasn't the league you want it is terrible and he should just come to the US. How many different clubs has Miazga been linked to so far? He very well may go to Bolton but let's wait to see before overreacting.
