Aresnal has to buy top players to be successful. Boca or River P don't. They are forced to produce and export. This is silly to argue.

Its a silly argument because its not an even playing field. How hard is it for Boca or RP to"find and develop" a young argentine player? They practically are turning down players that would start for some MLS teams. I wouldnt say they are better at producing them because they happen to be in Argentina. That would be like trying to compare how some Spanish clubs develop basketball players compared to some US area. Apples and oranges.

It sounded like he was comparing senior team skills (he made the claim that the Argentine teams would win on the pitch). That is the silly argument. Boca would be battling relegation if they were in the EPL

Boca has Won International Tournaments before and trust me those clubs probably took those games more serious than the champs league. 2000 Boca vs Real Madrid arguably the greatest Real Madrid team ever win 2-1. 2003 Boca vs Ac Milan another all time great team finishes 1-1 Boca wins on PKs. Also in 2001 Boca lost a close but competitive game to Bayern Munich in Extra time 1-0. So you ask me they cant compete ?? you obviously don't know their style and yes i think they would be a mid level team in EPL specially if they can buy players or keep their stars they would be a top 4 every single year. I was simply comparing them to Arsenal they are BETTER than them in almost every category the only difference is that Arsenal has more Money. The fact that Zelalem is there and Hopefully Sonora stays at Boca for some time i will put my $ Sonora will end up being the better player. I hope they both do well but Sonora is probably getting the better development right now.

Boca is one of the most Successful teams in the world they have won 63 titles. 20 international titles 18 of whom are recognized by FIFA top 3 i believe among clubs in the world. Also one of the Largest Fan Bases in the world. They have Produced several world class players including arguably the greatest player in History. So you still think Arsenal is better...

Yes Arsenal is a better team...There is no argument.

Ok So Boca has a better history. AND? What does that have to do with how good they are in 2014-15?

I'm trying so hard not to belittle you.

No if they play a 2 legged series home and away Boca wins i will bet on that. Arsenal got schooled by Monaco a team that really has no star players or known players for that matter. And i'm talking about right now. I could care less what names Arsenal has. They may have the names and star players but Boca is a Better TEAM.

The only way Arsenal would care if they beat Boca is if Boca joined the UCL. The only other ways to make them care are $$$$ or if they created a Club World Cup that Euro teams actually cared about and didnt treat as an exhibition. Until either of those happen I guess you wont get to be proven wrong.

Again.

Bocai s 1 behind Independiente. They could win it this year and tie them. River only 2. Ehh River 36 titles Boca 30. But Boca overall has more titles including copa sudamericanas. And yeah Maradona played with Argentino Juniors to start with But was noticed more when at Boca and even finished his career at Boca. He has said Boca is his home club.

Arsenal lost 3-3 on away goals to Monaco...That is getting schooled? Come on man, at least try not to throw out hyperbole in your garbage argument...

Arsenal had a terrible first leg. then completely dominated Monaco in the 2nd leg. The difference in the 2 legs was Arsenal giving up a STUPID Goal at the end of the 1st leg, that should have NEVER happened.

As far as Monaco having garbage players:
Croatia's first choice Keeper
Tunisian CB
Portuguese MF
a guy who scored 48 international goals for Bulgaria
Nigerian CB
Burkina Faso CM

A good majority of the rest of their roster are guys 22 and under. Some will be featuring for Brazil in the coming years, some for France, and some for other clubs.
They are a young team that has some good talent.

Apparently if he did with the way Boca develops players he would be the next Maradona. Greatest player ever...

@dolcem- Tevez? The great.

Tonto made a good point of Soņora or Zelalam as the enganche for the u20s.... Or can they both play in a midfield with Hyndman?

In theory if you put Zelalem with Sonora with a CDM then you have do away with having just one attacking 3/4 and put three forwards up, hopefully two with boss workrates
