Lando is returning to form. Holden is returning to form. Beasley is returning to form and impressing. Deuce is returnng to form. Altidore, Gomez, and Boyd continue to score and remain in form. Torres looks good. Both Chandler and Fabian are back in form. Howard is back healthy and in form. Bradley has regained his starting spot with Roma. Gyau looks confident and in form. Wooten continues to impress. Klinsmann will have a full complement of players to choose from going into May.

Everything is proceeding as I have forseen.

It isn't? He continues to start for Wednesday, and play well.

It needs to be a bit more games, of ideally 90 mins each time. He's a lock for Gold Cup, but you see him for the WCQs?

@navi - I don't see why not. Realistically he is just as good as any other sub would be in his position, besides maybe Klejstan. I don't see the harm in bringing him in as a solid sub, and maybe as a starter if he can really improve as much as we hope he can. Regardless, he has more experience at the international level than any of our sub options at his position, once again, except for maybe Klejstan.

Hmm, no I don't think he will be on the qualifying team, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him called into that May camp, so Klinsmann can get a definitive answer on his form and fitness for the Gold Cup team.

I was at the game. He was pretty ineffective against FCD's back line. Anytime he was able to find space in the middle, he was immediately swallowed up by George John and Matt Hedges. On the wings he was completely neutralized by Benitez and Loyd. That penalty, good God. Everyone in the stadium knew where he was sending it. I love me some Landon Donovan and I truly hope that last night's performance was due to his lack of matches and pre-season training. There was a bright spot, however. His corner kicks were very good so if nothing else, we know he still has that part of his game. Hopefully his form improves over the season.

Interesting that what I saw was totally different. Of course I was watching on TV and you got to watch it in person. I saw LD slot several dangerous passes past the back line which the Galaxy failed to convert on. Several times he switched the point of attack with long accurate passes. LD himself was not able to find space in an attack but he created many opportunities for others. He was good in possession and his service was good. All in all I thought it was a very good performance.

Blaise- i understand where you are coming from but I dont see LD saying no to a Natl team callup whenever it happens. I personally think he will be one of the "alternates" that is on the preliminary list and called in for the semis and finals(hoping we play well).

3 defenders in the back. Jeventus was the only team to use it recently that did well. Soccer Ryan doesn't think our defenders are as good as theirs.

As a mental health professional I just have to say that anyone who refers to themselves in the 3rd person is probably not the most reliable information source.

Watched Galaxy vs. Sporting KC last night. Landon is back for sure. If JK does not automatically put him back in the starting XI then he is a fool.

Kamph, as a mental health professional you should already know that JK is a fool.

Donovan looked pretty good last night, I'm sure we'll see him at his best(which he looked close to at times last night) in the next month or so.

Great game overall as well.

No Jurgen there are not players "clearly ahead" of Landon in his position.

Don't talk about commitment. Landon gave everything to US Soccer for over a decade. You Jurgen have done jacksh*t for US Soccer.

Landon was having mental health problems, Jurgen has no right to make snide comments about commitment. Imbecile.
