You could also mention Diego Fagundez. He does not have citizenship yet but he got the start today and was a product of New England's academy. He has been called up by Uruguay's u20s so that's a good sign for MLS I guess.

You would have to say that if Brooks decides to rep the US Shane O'Neill looks to have the inside track to be his CB partner for the U-20s'.

If Brooks goes with Germany then it looks like it will be O'Neill and Zimmerman.

Really like the look of Dillon Powers as well. Not the fastest, but he has a very intelligent soccer brain, can get physical, and can hit absolute screamers for goals.

I think it is safe to say that NBC sports is the official MLS Network now.

ESPN and it's affiliates is not showing an MLS game this weekend, but guess what there is a Liga MX game on ESPN 2.

The sad thing is that it'll probably get way better ratings than MLS.

"I felt like I felt when I was a little kid today,"- Donovan

If he really has the zest back, dare we see a return of 2009/2010 Donovan? (slightly less speed, but not by much)

So I gave MLS another shot by watching Galaxy vs Toronto, it was a pretty solid game overall... Really sloppy passes though... Donovan looked really rusty but I guess he needs time to get his game back. Also who is the Osario kid who plays for Toronto? He looks pretty good! Is he american? one last thing Magee and Villareal looks like a real good striker for their age, hopefully they can mature and become excellent players in the years ahead.

@thisguy2 Magee is 28. But I agree with the assessment of Villarreal. Did you perhaps mean McBean?

Watching a bunch of games today. Aside from the horrible 1st half of the Red Bulls-Union game, it's been a good day for MLS with a bunch of good games and goals.

Seattle's form right now is a big problem ahead of the CCL. No way do they get past Santos Laguna
