From twitter: Barnsley fans saying Brek Shea had another nightmare today Subbed at HT.

Please enough with the Brek Shea, he can't be trusted in the World Cup. He isn't worth a highly coveted slot.

Boy do I wish Gatt and Gyau had developed more...speed in the 66th minute.

Bad injury does not look good. Might be out for 6 months. Sucks because it seemed like klissman was gonna give him a 2nd chance.

Chandler is out 8-10 weeks with a lateral meniscus tear. At the earliest Chandler would be back by mid April more realistically the end of April or early May.

Well there goes him going to Brasil. Looks like it will be a battle between Yedlin and Evans for the second RB spot.

wow this is huge, right when it looked like Chandler was playing well and poised for a return.

Cameron is certainly the #1 but we really need him to stay healthy now as the back up options are awful.

I think Parkhurst will likely make the trip as a back up for all defense positions.

so people actually think yedlin is currently the best US RB in MLS?

i dont think he is even close at this point - which is why i think JK (yet again) made a massive mistake - this time with his MLS RB evals over the last 6 months and especially regarding camp cupcake

Sheanon Williams should get a shot he is probably one of the top rbs in mls. Massive blow for Chandler. he is not completely out yet but his chances went down dramatically. And cherundolo is still out. Now rb is our weakest position.

Lichaj also said to be out (per nottingham manager) "out for a number of weeks". Unlucky week.

I think people are entitled to their opinions. I rate Yedlin higher than Williams.

Dam that sucks but I believe he will make it back. Regardless JK has to see that when Timmy comes back, who is in better form for Ghana come June. What timmy has over Geoff is pace but regardless but are vital options. Could have def been a worst injury like a Falcao type. By mid April he will get back after a "break" and be ready to start and/or be Geoff back up. Yedlin isnt ready.

the point is that... if need be, is deandre yedlin a good option in brazil?

nobody questions yedlin has great potential. also nobody questions that yedlin has a lot to learn has pretty questionable positional sense at this point in his career.

if not williams, how bout tony beltran? how have evans and yedlin moved ahead of beltran, who was starter in last years all-star game? beltran had another fantastic season at RSL. so if not williams, why was beltran not in camp?

if there is an emergency, yedlin is way too raw to throw on the field in brazil. this close to brazil guys like williams and beltran were the guys to have around in case things get dicey... IMO

Parkhurst and Evans are way ahead of Yedlin and Williams when it comes down to it.
