Chandler playing well today against Hoffenheim. He has Nurnbergs goal. Took a deflection.

Fabian is playing LB. Almost had a goal, but curled just wide.

Fabian pulled at the start of the 2nd half. Toljan on for him.

Not surprised. Fabian just is not a very good defending LB. Much better as a winger.

Fabian left due to a hand injury. But in saying that he wasn't really having a good defensive display in that first half either.

Nurnberg's first win of the season. Better now than ever.

cmon, who can argue with this?

somebody tell me with a strait face that:
- cameron (EPL starter) and chandler (bundesliga starter) should not both start
- cameron is an option as a CB in back 4

those are the options peeps

They will start, cause Brad Evans earned the right back spot and its his to loose. If they both can do better than evans at practice no doubt JK will start either one of them.

I'll take the second backline, Rain. It's a good setup.

Why do you have to antagonize all the time? Just say your point and get over yourself.

Does Timmy have much experience on the left? I guess I'm not sure, so putting him there for the WC would certainly be risky if he doesn't have a whole lot of experience there.

No less risky than playing Beasley at LB. Rain is right. The only problem with Cam at RB is that Gonzo gets a spot in the starting 11. But very nice line Rain.

ok, ok

my point is that JK needs to get over himself and get one of his best players involved (chandler)

if not, at least dont give us this BS about how evans is just a better OB and chandler is just too far down the depth chart to get called in

sorry, i just really care for JK strait up LYING to us, as if we are that stupid

chandler at LB? he has a little experience, not a lot... why i would rather see chandler as RWB, fab at LWB... puts everyone in their best spots

I'm with you on the L and RWB in theory. But as many posters have pointed out, it is very difficult to use that formation internationally. The players have to know their positions perfectly in order for it to work.

Agreed. I think a Besler, Cameron, Gonzo back 3 with Fabian and Timmy at wing backs would be great, but it just isn't going to happen. Especially since we'll be playing against very formidable attacking squads.

And I whole-heartedly agree that Chandler needs to be included for the Ukraine friendly. I will definitely be a little perturbed if JK omits him once again.
