Going forward what is it?

I think it's naturally a RW but RB is also good.

Klinsmann needs to end the LB experiment. His left foot is just too weak

------Striker

Donovan CAM Chandler

---Def Mid. Def Mid.

Johnson CB CB Cherundolo

This is the way to go IMO until Dolo proves he can't handle RB anymore.

"That is a part of it and I use the example of the (recent) Mexico game. For four days I would have had to travel to Mexico and back, right when the season started here, so yes that is part of it."

Lazy beestard. But we still need him, his pace on the right, with FabJ or Lichaj on left is neccesary.

Or the USMNT moves on from Chandler, adn use Lichaj in his more nautral RB spot. Lichaj is way better at RB than he is at LB.

let's not forget he is also a good WINGER, which we have none. Shea is not quite there yet, and Gatt I am not sure even exists (jk), Gyau is not ready yet.

Klinsmann would, first, have to call him up. Which, for the life of me, I cannot figure out why he hasn't yet. Orozco-Fiscal & Spector over Lichaj? Riddle me that please.

who is to say Lichaj or Villa haven't turned down the call up. It is a bit weird that there has been nothing on the subject though.

Chandler is a better RB than Lichaj but he is a better LB than Chandler.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if its a FIFA International Fixture Date, arent clubs obligated to allow players the opportunity to play for their country? Now if Lichaj turned down the call up, I would hope that would come to light in the press.

They may be obligated but they also can tell the player that they may lose there starting spot. Not a good idea for young players fight for a spot in the starting 11.

Fact of the matter is, Lichaj is probably not on the roster because JK isn't high on him for some reason.

It's going to be one awkward locker room in Russia.....

Plus he won't have his immature BFF Brek Shea with him. He's gonna stick close with Danny, Fabian, and Jermaine.

There will be questions but I don't think it will be that bad.

As long as he is committed from now on, I am sure most players will be able to forgive him.

Chandler right now is depth... he's not a starter at any position. He's depth at RB and RW and maybe an interesting option as a sub off the bench. I think he and Lichaj should fight for the role to fill in whenever Dolo starts to decline (which we haven't seen signs of yet). But at just 22 he's an interesting prospect who despite the drama will certainly help with the next wave of talent.
