Dos Santos sucks.. He's a one trick pony.. Uses his acceleration and only left foot.. Just watch him.. they should close him towards the left side.. He had a good gold cup final cause Bornstein was there.. watch the highlights.. He wont even use his right to get on the bus..

I know klinsmann would play edu ahead of kljestan and beckerman in the center, so he is the obivious replacement for jones. But if he puts mo at cb sacha should be the obivious replacement not beckerman..

But jurgen has his favorites..would rather see cameron at cdm than beckerman..

Starting XI

------ Altidore -------
Gomez-- Demps ---- EJ
-- Kljestan - Bradley ----
Beas - Edu - Gonzo - Cam
------ Guzan --------

If klinsmann goes with a beckerman, edu, bradley midfield line up, I will turn the channel and watch march madness. I am not gonna wasted my time watching bunker ball

Subs: Boyd - Corona - Shea (if healthy)

Most likely edu will start... But id rather see klesjtan, i think he is a more complete player... Wouldnt mind seeing corona also.. in all honesty i think usa should go for the 3pts... Go out and hit em in the mouth early and take their chances, and risks... If they tie i wouldnt be happy or upset... A lost will hurt of course... But i think is time for the usa to win a qualifier at azteca for the first time... I know were missing several players but i believe we have enough to pull out a victory.... I really hope we take all 3pts...

If beckerman does start next to bradley then, Kljestan should be subbed on for him at the half..after we have no offense..

What if beckerman ends up scoring the winning goal ?? Lol not like i want him to start either... That would be ironic huh.... But um sure klissman will start edu, if not klesjtan
And even corona, would be a good fit.... usa should play like florida gulf coast lol.... No fear attack and risk it... Take all 3pts... I feel usa will play to win and attack... Ej for zusi wouldnt mind... I hope boyd gets plenty of game time....

Your florida state gulf coast joke wasn't funny because I went to San Diego State.

I feel bad for always talking #$%^ about zusi. I saw his player intro on ESPN FC and he seems like a cool dude

It's the biggest USNT game outside of the World Cup...you gotta watch it, no matter the tactics. And maybe we start conservatively but bring on guys like Corona and Klejstan as subs.

@blaise213

I hope not...if so, it would mean that USSF doesn't feel too highly about MLS quality, since there's a quota. I'm all for bringing in young MLS talent to the MNT, but it should be on their merits.

JK is going to sit in and try to grind out a tie. Especially since Jones is hurt and not playing so he will likely just insery Edu in his position. It's a safe move, but not one I am a fan of.
This will be what he most likely goes with
EJ Altidore
Dempsey Gomez
Edu Bradley
Beasley Goodson Gonzalez Cameron
Guzan

I would like to see

Gomez Altidore
EJ Dempsey Corona
Bradley
Beasley Goodson Gonzalez Cameron
Guzan

And really go for it becauser Mexico is reeling after that 2-0 lead they just blew for a 2-2 draw. Corona and Beasley should be on the field because they play in Mexico. Especially Corona, give him a shot Zusi was ineffective and Corona will want to prove himself.

Really? When has US under JK shown a willingness to play to win and attack? Unless you call playing to get 1-2 scoring chances a game attacking. Not counting the last 15 minutes against Russia you have to go all the way back to May vs Scotland to find the last time we pushed to attack vs a half decent squad (Guatemala and A&B dont count).

You realise that under JK we've played 24 international games. We've scored more than 1 goal exactly 5 times. If you take away Guatemala and A&B its 2 times in 20 games. The ONLY two times he played to attack were against Scotland and Slovenia (when people were calling for his head during friendlies and he needed to score goals). How many more games do we have to play to a 0-0, 1-0, 1-1, or 1-2 score line before every realises that under JK we arent an attacking team. We are a defensive turtle team that hopes to steal a goal and hold on.

My feeling is we are playing with house money. If we play for a point, we are going to lose. The best chance at getting any points is playing to win. We need to be able to maintain some kind of possession. Go for it from the first whistle. Mexico is there for the taking, grab an early goal and let them panic.

Id be ok with Corona over Zusi, but I think Zusi will give us a better chance at scoring early on. I would like to see Corona for him at some point for better possession.

Im begging, begging for Edu to stay put on the bench. The dude just does not have any handle. I dont trust him one bit with the ball at his feet.

I think Shea is going to get the start, he's played at least a few different times in Mexico (with the NT and with FCD in CCL play) and will be chomping at the bit to make an impact.
