Anyone hoping to see Adam Henley in a USA roster will have to wait. Seems he is out for the year with a hamstring tear.

Ouch. That's too bad. It's a shame to see a young player experience such a nasty injury.

Any news on Adam? Has he been playing for Blackburn? Any news on his national team preferences?

There was a time when I thought the US was going to win Henley over but that was before he got hurt and before Yedlin rose to prominence.

It's tough. Henley is a good player but I'm not sure where he would fit in right now. Does he switch knowing there is a lot of competition at his spot? Chandler is 23, Yedlin is 20, Sorto is 18.

I bet he stays. Him and Bale could lead Wales to a UEFA tourney in 2016. With a lot of the eastern euro teams on the down swing (czech rep, slovakia, slovenia, serbia, romania) there will be teams like them, montenegro, israel who may qqualify for the first time in a long time

Henley would be depth at a position historically their hasnt been much. I rate him much higher than Sorto and LB is going to open up once again after this cycle. If he wants to get recognition out of playing for club he will probably choose the US as Wales is far from being where they need to be even with a promising group of young players.
