Jozy is having a fine inaugural season with AZ. Despite several benchings from his manager for performance and/or motivational reasons he's still AZ's top scorer with 14 goals in all competitions.
AZ play Udinese tomorrow in the 2nd leg of their Europa League matchup.
Are you happy with the season Jozy is having? Do you think he could be doing better?

He's doing well..
I think he needed a hard-ass like Verbeek as a coach.
I have no problems with him getting benched for reasons that don't seem right to fans. Jozy needs a fire under his ass to play with a purpose.

The benching might have been the best motivator he's had this season. Look what he's done since he came back - racking up goals and assists in league, cup and national team games.

Yeah. I've noticed that his work rate for the National Team has gone up a lot since he started playing for Verbeek. I always thought he was lazy as all hell, hardly even moving unless the ball came straight to his feet. He's being a lot more mobile now, and being a way more effective player in the process.
Hooray!

Jozy scored 2 goals vs. Ajax in a 2-2 draw today. Congrats to Jozy. Nice way to start the season.
Altidore with a hat trick already... AZ up 4-1.. He should be a hot target in the transfer window.. But i think he should finish of the season first.. Then wel see what happens..
