Also shrewd move by Tottenham loaning him back to Seattle, so Yedlin can get more USMNT starts and games underneath him before they have to put in for his work permit in December in order to join in January. I would bet that Klinsmann will be calling him up and capping him for every Friendly from now until his Work permit hearing.
He has 7 caps right now by December he could have 13 caps.
I don't remenber what the time frame is but he did play in 3 of 4 World Cup games. Throw in the friendlies beforehand and he's gotta be above 75% over the last 4-5 months.

I must say i was left with a bad taste when Dempsey left even when he did well for not having a preseason and whole team being carried by Bale. SAying that Yedlin has something Dempsey didnt and that time. Time to adjust and time to get into their system.
So far best EPL for Americans would be Everton. They love Howard and love Landon even though he was only there as a loan they wish he was an everon player. Sunderland for Altidore has yet to be anything good

Don't forget about McBride and Joe-Max Moore at Everton. We love our Americans.

Could be a good move, I just hope he gets minutes or Spurs loans him out.

Spurs haven't traditionally done wonders with their depth players. But that was mostly under the AVB saga. Hopefully he'll get some good looks.

As an Arsenal guy, I do not like this move but for Yedlin this is great. Spurs likes pacy outside backs and wingers. Yedlin fits the description. I hope he flourishes and moves on and not Spurs so much.

Roma states that they are still pursuing Yedlin. Say that he is not a Tottenham player yet.
Excited as a Spurs fan. I got Dempsey's jersey, time to get Yedlin's. Pochettino is getting rid of a number of players to bring the squad down to 25. I hope Naughton is one of those that goes; I've never been a fan of his and he sometimes covers Walker when Walker is out injured on RB.
Not yet. He is still a Seattle player until January.

Ill be interesting if Barcelona can get walker during this transfer window or winter one. Yedlin will definitely get his minutes if that happens.
Seems like this cycle we will have more American Defenders in Europe.
Yedlin, Brooks, Fabian Johnson, Cameron You have to wonder if FJ will start at midfield for the national team since he is so dangerous. That Yedlin and FJ Right side of the field look dangerous

He may not even head to Tottenham until the summer of 2015. Totttenham has stated that right now Yedlin won't be a part of the team until the 2015/2016 EPL season.

The good thing he is staying with Seattle the rest of the season. But is he going to tottenham in January or until the start of the season in august next year ?
