Apples and oranges, my friend. And completely different situations.

It could be a good move. Pochettino showed last year that he's willing to give youngsters a chance to play. Although who knows how long he'll be with Spurs with Levy in charge.

He'll be a reserve league player a la llettget or get loaned out. Spurs is going for UCL. No way they give him real minutes with no preseason to gel with teamates and no track record.

Whats wrong with Yedlin going to the Spurs? I liked the way Southampton played the past year and a half under Pochettino.

It's going to be hard for him to be a starter at Tottenham. Kyle Walker is already established at RB, and then you have Kyle Naughton.

Now Kyle Naughton is rumored to be on his way out, so I guess Yedlin could be inline for quite a bit of minutes as a second string RB.

It's up to him if he wants to go that route.

I said I hope not because I just don't want to lose him being a Seattle supporter, but I concede that Totenham wouldn't be a bad destination.

I really wish Newcastle United would go for him. Newcastle is close to my heart. they were the first soccer team I watched as a youngster.

Looks like he took his medical today in London. Guess he will be signing with tottenham soon. I wanted his to go to roma because Serie A is the best league in the world for Defenders to get better. Is a defensive league as the Italians are known.

I kinda like the move. If Naughton is on the way out, Yedlin might get looks. Walker is always injured. And I wouldn't be surprised to maybe see him get looks eventually on the wing. Lennon is oft-injured as well, same with Townsend.

It's being reported that if a deal is finalized he'll stay with Seattle through the mls season and join spurs in January. If that's true doubt he plays for spurs this year and will likely train with their reserves and try to break through in 2015.

Also shrewd move by Tottenham loaning him back to Seattle, so Yedlin can get more USMNT starts and games underneath him before they have to put in for his work permit in December in order to join in January. I would bet that Klinsmann will be calling him up and capping him for every Friendly from now until his Work permit hearing.

He has 7 caps right now by December he could have 13 caps.
