Wouldn't that be somethin special if Yedlin oneday became the starting RB for both Hannover and the USNT!

Let's strive for him to be better than just Hannover in the end. We need Champions League players
If you don't love it, leave it, USA #1

He is one of three Rookie of the Years finalists.

Probably gets third in voting. Because his numbers aren't like Powers and Brown.

But Yedlin was probably Seattle's most consistent player, and not having him healthy enough to play in the first leg against Portland really hurt Seattle.

Second leg he was beast. Scoring a goal and assisting on the second with in 3 minutes apart. His defending was spot on as well.

He absolutely dominated Deshorn Brown in the Wild card game as well.

DeAndre Yedlin could very well make the jump from Jan camp to the full national team. He has the type of speed and athleticism that is uncoachable, and will definitely be necessary in this coming WC in Brazil. The talent headed to Brazil from all around the globe is impressive, and plenty of speed to go with technique. Hence the reason everyone is so worried about Brad Evans, who honestly seems very solid, except for every now and again his lack of pure speed and agility gets exposed. Yedlin could be the cure for that, and I believe of all of the young, up and coming talent, Yedlin has the best chance to be on the roster.

I agree I think of all of the young players 20 or younger he has the greatest chance to make the WC team. He can dominate opponents with his offensive skill set. His defending needs to get better, but I could see Klinsmann using him as a Winger in the January camp.

Was going to post this in the Summer Season of Silliness thread, but this might not actually be silliness.

Rumors that Roma could buy Yedlin and loan him out to Genoa. With American ownership, I wouldn't put it out of the question.

Thoughts?

Honestly I hope none go to Europe. We have to grow our league. I would love for usa to send an a 23 mls base club players to Brazil. And without a doubt I know they will be the vest team we ever send and perform best at a world cup.

You constantly deride and make fun of the England national team and the Premier League, and yet here you are saying you hope the USMNT does EXACTLY WHAT THE ENGLISH DID. Unbelievable.

Wow you must suck at geography. Never knew Europe was England ??? Ohh and by the way yedlin is rumored at Roma, if you did not know roma is located in Italy. England has nothing to do with usa. I thought I posted a while back a starting 11 based in mls will beat a starting 11 from England in epl because their players suck their just there because they are from there.

@ dunlopp why do you think there are no English players in Serie A or La liga or Bundesliga ??? Because they suck they aren't good enough to make it in those leagues. They stay where their from because they are accepted there even if they suck. The best player they ever had is Beckham period because he proved himself world wide.

I'm truly at a loss. I'm sitting, staring at the screen, because I don't know what to say. I'm dumbfounded. One of the dumbest individuals I've ever come across.

Do you realize what you're even saying? You make fun of England because they bring a 23 man roster that is primarily made up of domestic players, AND THEN YOU PROPOSE THE US DOES THE EXACT SAME THING. And then to have the audacity to say that an all MLS, American side would destroy an all Premier League, English side?? YOU. ARE. DAFT. I'm not saying the American MLS guys are bad. Some of them are good. But for you to even imply that a 23-man, MLS-based roster could outclass a 23-man, Premier League-based roster just shows how out of touch with reality you are.

And I don't even need to touch the Beckham comment. That's up there (with the dozens upon dozens) of moronic things you've said.

I wish I could believe that you are actually just a troll, and are in fact a smart, well-educated person just having a go. But unfortunately, you're not. You're just delusional.

Yedlin to the Serie A would be glorious. I think Seattle will hold off but he wont be short of suitors till then.

Yedlin to Italy is what he needs. Tactical discipline to go with his natural gifts. Learning when to go forward, and why- that will bring DeAndre to the next level.
