have not watched any but 0-1 loss at tigres not an awful result - gives sounders a shot coming back to seattle. tigres have been dominant in liga MX so holding them to 1 goal at home was a pretty fantastic result... especially seeing that seattle seems to be in a bit of disarray at the moment

Osvaldo Alonso is such fantastic player for Seattle. It really is something to watch.

I watched the whole 90. Seattle was dominated most of the game (65-35 possession or something like that... 8-1 corners or something, shots on goal like 10-2)... So sneaking out with an almost tie (how it seemed most of the game) was the best they could ask for and 0-1 isn't terrible.
Eddie Johnson looked alright though he miffed a great chance he set up for himself by shooting straight at the keeper. Gspurning was on fire.
El Gringo looked great too. He had some of the best passing on the field.

Watching last night's game made me wish FIFA would grant Ozzie eligibility for the USMNT. You want to talk about a defensive anchor? He'd be the perfect guy to plug in so that MB and JJ could perhaps attempt to assert themselves more offensively (assuming we're still doing the 3DM thing).

I thought Brad Evans was pretty bad last night. He continually gave the ball away in bad positions, and didn't add anything for Seattle going forward.
Ej needs more help if Seattle are going to win this series.

The goal was a clear offside... Regardless Seattle has a good chance of winning but if they give up 1 goal at home is over... I dont see them getting 3 goals...

interesting to note tigres did not start 3 of their top 4 attacking players - both wingers - alvarez and danilinho and top goal scorer villa who has 8 goals in 8 apps this season (was not even on bench). combined they have contributed 10 goals, 6 assists in 9 league games.
3 replacements = 1 start, 1 goal, 0 asssits
would be really funny if the lack of respect came back to bite them

Seattle are going to have to play a near perfect game to beat them. The good news is that they will be rested, will have an artificial pitch(hopefully this throws Tigres off) and lets hope the weather is awful.
Sounder fans need to come out and create a good home field advantage filling up around 28-30k of the seats.
The key is not giving up an away goal or they will need 3 to win.

Sigi roster selection was bad
Brad Evans is garbage - How is this guy in the US national team picture? WOW
Scott sucks
#14 sucks
I wish MLS would change the use of a "DP" for goalkeeper. I think an MLS team should be able to sign any keeper they want by giving up a draft pick or something. The DP slot is too valuable to use on a keeper
Also, Seattle should've taken notes from Houston. If you want to beat these teams, you need quick one touch passing

Villa is injured, so he won't be playing in the return leg.
The other two players have been in an out of the starting 11 for Tigres. In no way our both starting player locks.

what the F$#% dude??? alvarez and danilinho have both started EVERY game this session - 9 of 9 - THATS A LOCK!!! alvarado and hernandez have both started ZERO of nine. alvarez stated 16 of 17 in fall season. hernandez was a starter LAST YEAR. danilinho was on loan last season but is back and is clearly a starter.
please explain your argument using logic and facts...

It's hilarious how defensive you get consistently. Calm down.
By the way Danilinho did play in the second half last night.

its not being defensive, its being frustrated. i provided what i thought was a simple, noteworthy piece of information and you basically come along and say "disregard that statement - he does not know what he is talking about."
this is after i already provided the supporting evidence.
its just hard to understand your motivation for coming along and trying to casually dismiss a simple, objectively factual, accurate statement...
clearly alvarez is a regular starter and alvarado is not. if you have some input on why danilinho is not really a lock 1st choice option despite the fact that he has started all 9 league games so far this year, please inform us
otherwise i dont see the point of refuting the original statement
