All USMNT coaches are stubborn. Bruce "didn't want to chase" players across Europe to get them to commit to the USA. Maybe he should have done so... Bob has his weird choices. Bornstein?.. And Jurgen seems to be the most stubborn of all. He frequently mentions the 'spine' of the team. No matter how poorly Jozy or Clint play they will be in the starting 11 vs Ghana and Landon will not.

You cannot just base Jozy's play on number of goals scored.

I wasn't. But just as part of the example. Jozy, MB, Clint, Howard are starting in Brazil no matter what. But the reality is Clint is garbage and Jozy is a striker who is suppose to score and can't.
If you don't love it, leave it, USA #1

Well, I think if anyone is saying Clint should start against Ghana as of today then that would come back to haunt them. Or, it probably wouldn't actually because I doubt he will start against Ghana. Let's hope Klinsy quietly eats his words. Will be a good test for the boss.
