I think Dempsey proved he could hack it in arguably the best league in Europe for 7 years.

It's sad because I think Zusi or Donovan could have gotten significant PT on this Fulham team.

Not even being a bench player.....there's really no excuse for that....no matter the circumstance here. That's abysmal this many times in a row.

with regards to high profile players going on short-term, off-season, loans, hopefully this is actually a good thing... meaning it does not happen in future

great for guys who actually have ambition to make a switch to europe, but just silly for guys who are doing almost exclusively to stroke their egos

clint needs to be on first plane to seattle in the morning

Well this is awesome. Our captain can't make the 18 for one of the worst teams in England and has scored like 2 goals in the last calendar year. Our striker can't score. Our next best player is 32 years old and Jurgen never mentions him as a key player. And our likely CB pairing will be hailing from the MLS. Looking gooooood for Brazil, guys. Starting for Fulham today against Chelsea.

He has scored 4 goals in 12 against Chelsea over his career.

If Dempsey isn't in the 18 today, then this loan has been a complete waste.

Baffled when I saw that he's starting. His last match with them, I figured he wouldn't even see the bench and Magath would go with guys who will be there the rest of the season.

Huh. He is playing underneath Bent. Kasami is the LW.

Deuce looking like the old Deuce. Very active. Good first touches.
