Sometimes I wonder if I'm insane...why did just watch that first half?

That was awful. Some think Sunderland are bad? Oh no no no...Fulham are garbage. Thank god Demps is only there for a week or two more. This team is awful.

Yeah listening on 5live they're very critical of Fulham, the word "lazy" is being thrown around a lot...

While the EPL is a great league(if not the best) the bottom 5 or 6 teams are really painful to watch, even when they play each other. I do recognize this is a match v. a lower division team, but still....its ugly.

People kill MLS, but its a hell of a lot more attractive to watch compared to Fulham v. Crystal Palace or something. Oy.

Its interesting you say that because Ive rather enjoyed watching championship matches. Much more physical and still some pretty football from time to time. Obviously the best teams are in the premier league, as well as the best football, but Im still rather entertained by championship soccer.

That's really true. Aside from the random Championship game on Bein or other "streams" we cant get Championship games to watch yanks like Ream, Packwood, Shea, Gooch, Holmes and others. If they were in the Premier League we'd watch it constantly. But we only got Timmy, Guzan, Cameron, and Jozy. Which isn't a bad thing at all.

I know this is a highly Eurocentric board(hence why everyone hear gets over excited about every euro prospect compared to the MLS kids), but I'd rather watch Portland v. LA(or a number of other MLS matches) over any bottom 7 or 8 EPL team go at it.

That's unfair. This is Yanks Abroad. Not only does it cover MLS and its players, it covers prospects who are in academies in all parts of the world and players in different leagues.

Would you rather watch Chivas vs FC Dallas instead of QPR vs Reading? I'm not hating on the MLS, but the top of every league is more fun to watch than the bottom feeders. I'm thoroughly hyped about the development of our MLS kids as well as the development of the league as a whole. I just haven't seen consistently solid football from the top MLS clubs to really make the switch. Too many long balls. Not enough creativity. I'm going to be watching a lot more MLS this next season though. Too many of my favorite players here not to.

I'm not saying that. We all should be excited about the our quality young prospects(wherever they play) such as Paul Arriola(Tijuana) or Duane Holmes(Hudds.) These kids have talent and could be future NT players.

I'm saying its frustrating knowing more people would rather watch West Ham v. Stoke over Portland v. Seattle. You can look at the low table EPL match ups and they even kill MLS ratings. It makes no sense.

I can understand Liverpool v. Everton or City v. United, but Palace v. Norwich...come on.

I'm comparing similar quality levels and what the average American soccer fans watches. Liga MX is the most popular league in the US followed by the EPL and afterward MLS.

MLS ratings shouldn't be as far behind some of the lower EPL teams and Liga MX based on overall quality. That's all I'm trying to say.

I personally would rather/and do watch more mls more than any other league in the world. I support our league, and would prefer mls. I would never watched an entire league game from Europe the only games i have watched in entirety are Champions league games in quarters, semis, final. The only games from Europe that i watch some or just highlights are the teams that have American players. Put it this way i would rather watch fulham vs sunderland than barca vs madrid, why because they have 2 American players, i don't care much about the players in barca or madrid and even tho i know it will be a million times better game ill watch the highlights after.

One of Dempsey's last chances to prove that he didn't just leave the EPL because he couldn't hack it in europe.
