If MLS is sincere about cracking down on dangerous/malicious play/players than they need to make a real statement with De Jong. He needs to be suspended a minimum of 3 matches, or until Nagbe returns to the field.
That would send a message throughout the league that if you seriously endanger players health and safety than you will be sidelined until the injured player is able to return to playing.

Hopefully Nagbe has a full and speedy recovery.

thats what we get for bringing him to MLS
dont put "we" in there- it's Bruce Arena, the dick who criticizes Jürgen for not using enough Americans that went and got that stupid thug to play for LA.

There is a still picture of the incident, and De Jong is looking right at Nagbe's ankle while issuing his studs up tackle.

Love how the LA players were arguing with the original call while saying he got the ball.

Yeah that was a brutal tackle. He'll get a few games. But I'm worried about Nagbe. He could be out a while.

I want to see 5 games minimum. He knew exactly what he was doing. His right foot was turned inward sideways away from the anticpated cut from Nagbe. He's well versed in the dark arts. He'll never change...someone needs to line him up...and retire him. I'm normally not that way, but De Jong is a cancer in MLS.

we as in MLS. MLS should have rejected that piece of shit from joining MLS. Wasnt a mystery that he was going to hurt players.

I agree someone needs to give him some of his own medicine. Idiot is so reckless and knows what his doing. Should be banned until Nagbe is back and playing.

lol, well at the very least we got Klesjtan called into the mix. wow. amix pun there

but yea, calling up Sasha, after Bradley and Jones weren't available, and NOT giving Nagbe some run? Seriously, something's up.

Welp, onto the next one. Don't think he has Fabian Johnson capital to spend in JK's bank.

and Sasha is not a direct replacement for Nagbe, I don't feel. Nagbe is a solution to the connex between DEF CDM and attacking options.. like when we get pressed the hell in midfield. i feel like i know more than the coach, but i have a desk job, what do i know.

I really hope that Nagbe isn't going to be locked out of the national team in the future due to his decision not to participate in the October friendlies. IMO Nagbe has a skill set that few players in our player pool can match. He can dribble in tight congested situations, he's constantly looking to link up with teammates, has great speed, plays gritty when on defense, is versatile (centrally or out wide), and draws a lot of fouls.
He has the potential to be a major contributor/starter for the team if given minutes.
