Give him some more time with the USMNT and if he continues to show well, I'm sure he'll get some attractive Euro offers.

He was getting offers before becoming a US citizen. He doesn't need more time with the national team to get good Euro offers.

I think the offers will be coming in regardless of what he does with USMNT.

Just signed a 4 year extension with Portland. Lots of people thought that once he got his citizenship he'd bolt for Europe (especially since he has an MLS cup to his name). Apparently he likes MLS. Great signing for MLS. Wish he would have went to French League or Portuguese League but oh well

Great to see Nagbe resign. Doesn't mean he will stay that entire 4 years. Just guarantees Portland getting a transfer fee for him if he leaves.

Right. Its just with MLS's track record for transferring guys not in their last year of the contract isn't a good one.

I could see him staying in Portland. At his age, people probably think his development is done. I mean look at perry kitchen, he could only get a deal at Hearts. Who would sign Nagbe anyhow? I could see him doing a Bedoya and signing for a low end of the table team like Nantes was perhaps.

Not to mention, the security and comfort of America. The guy is from Liberia correct? Anyone know how much $$/per?

You realize Nantes is currently 8th and 3pts out of 3rd. 3-9 is really tight right now.

When he signed with Nantes they barely avoided relegation and had money issues. They are having a good year this year but they've been pretty bad recently

Last year they finished 14th. His first year 13th. But historically they've been a fairly good Ligue 1 side. They have the 3rd most league titles with 8. That's more than PSG, Lyon and Monoco. Haven't been spectacular lately. I'm just saying they are not exactly a bottom feeder of Ligue 1. But yes, I suppose to go back to the original comment they were closer to the bottom at the time of his signing. Actually I think maybe they had just gotten promoted that year ('13). So touché! Just saying the club has a pretty solid history.

That was a nasty and dirty challenge. It looked bad at the end, he couldnt even walk. I wanted Chara so bad to punch him or something. De Jong shouldn't play until Nagbe returns.

Yup! Someone needs to do this to the guy!

He no longer deserves to be playing the game!
